Its beautiful / setup was smooth except for the recliner. There are no instructions and both connections appear to be female? But I removed the cover clip and we are loving this - be advised the foot rest on my recliner does not raise to a horizontal position and I still love this forever piece of gorgeous furniture!
I thought I researched and ask the right questions but I am not pleased with this sectional particularly the power recliner. When I raise the foot rest is is not designed for a tall person. I would imagine it would be fine for a person of 5’10” or so.
I just received the Octavia sofa recliner and the color and fabric is very different from their website. The fabric look so cheap, we are so disapointed. I contacted Valencia and the women told me they can ship different product that is not the same as their website picture! She told me that if i m not happy, i just have to pay 900$ to ship them back the sofa! She hang up the phone. NEVER buy there, 0 customer service and they can send you different product that is not like the pictures on their website!
Buying our chairs through Valencia was quick and easy. Other websites had similar chairs for double the price, so I was not sure if the quality would be as high, but decided to try it out. I can say without a doubt the chairs are top notch and I am so pleased I chose Valencia!
I am writing this review out of absolute frustration with this company. We ordered a sofa in September 2024 for pre Christmas delivery, paid the deposit. At the end of November they hadn’t got in touch so I got in touch. Got told there was delay due to leather supplier should be delivery early in the new year. It took several days to get a response. End of January 2025 we heard nothing from them so contacted them again got told March. Start of March got told it’s in transit should arrive early April into UK ready to be delivered end of the month. I got contacted April and asked for balance and once we paid it was stated that after 7 days we would hear from courier to arrange delivery. It’s now 13 working days and we have chased them up and now it’s issues with the courier. Avoid this company.
First and foremost, the product - a mid-century modern lounge chair - is excellent. It looks great and is of a high quality. Secondly, the purchase was easy to make. The communication throughout the process was excellent. And finally delivery was seamless.
The waiting times are incredibly long (2.5 months and counting) with no update communication unless the customer continuously asks for it. The delivery times when ordering compared to the actual dates are completely out of synch. If your business depends on prompt delivery of furniture steer well clear of Valencia. I am writing this with still no confirmation of delivery dates whilst the order was made on the 15th of March!!!!
