AVOID

They do not reply to emails. I bought a spare wheel via Ebay but found I needed to get a space saver so rang them but after being passed from person to person was told that they didn't have one.I asked if I brought it back direct to them I could get a refund which they said I would less the delivery charge. On getting there they then said there would be a restocking charge. Although we had a receipt and photo of the wheel with their employee was told to contact Ebay for the money. Ebay asked that we ask the firm to send an email to confirm they had the wheel. Sent email to Vaux Spares but no email sent. Sent another to them asking why they didn't send email. No reply so rang them and after being kept on hold for a while was told it had been sorted. On finding nothing had been sorted phoned them again and was cut off when I said my name.The result is not only do they have my money but also the wheel.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! i purchased a gear box of them as i was in need of one as i was let down by other companies, they said they will be able to get sent out next day which should be with my garage my the following tuesday never happened within a couple of weeks it arrived after one gear box went missing and then they sent out another one, gear box was checked by my machanic and it was faulty tried countless of times to get hold of the company with emials and phone calls only to be told manager is away, hung up on my partner as she was calling on my behalf while i was at work, (really not nice people) once i finally got back through i was told i had to pay for shipping pays and the would take the shelf life off my refund and i would get whats left i refused this as im entilited to a full refund which they have refused we have court next month as i am not letting this go!! please be warey and dont panic buy honestly the worst thing i have ever done and i have learnt my lesson to check google and trust pilot!! they put their own reviews on google thats why its so high!!!

Superb Company and Customer Service

I hit a problem as my order was not delivered, contrary to what the courier claimed. Our CCTV showed no effort to deliver at the time claimed. This is when you find out how good a company is. Today I received a phone call from them, very friendly and polite and they immediately issued a full refund with no quibble whatsoever. I would recommend them to anyone and, despite my problem, would very happily use them to purchase from again in the future. A very positive experience indeed from a highly recommended company. Thank you!

Untrustworthy

Untrustworthy - they will tell you anything. , I bought a spare wheel from VauxSpares through the PartsGateway website, and paid £40.00 by Paypal.I provided my vehicle registration number, and the quote page from Vaux Spares included the wording, “Prior to dispatch, the seller will run a fitment check. If not compatible, you will be refunded or an alternative offered.”After several days, the wheel had not been delivered.I telephoned Vaux Spares, and was told that ‘the team that deals with Parts Gateway sales was ‘out of the office’, and ‘in the yard’. I asked that the team be asked to telephone me back. No one called me back.I made a second call about an hour later, to be told that ‘the team had gone to lunch and would be back in 30 mins. I asked for a callback from the team. No one called m back.I made a third call and was put through to ‘shipping’, where I was told that the wheel was with the carrier, DHL. I asked for the tracking number, and was told that it was not immediately available. The staff member agreed to email it to me. No email was received.I made a fourth call, to be told that the item ordered would not fit my car, and that I had been messaged on Parts Gateway site to this effect. There are no messages relating to this purchase on the Parts Gateway site. I asked to be refunded, and was assured that a refund would be sent on Saturday 22nd Jan.By Tuesday 25th, no refund had been received. I telephone again to be told that it would take 3 working days, and would arrive in my account on the 26th. No refund has been received.I made my 6th call on 27th Jan, and selected the ‘operator’ option. The phone was answered by someone who claimed to be the Parts Gateway dept, who told me that an e-cheque had been sent. I asked what this was. He told me it was how refunds were made to Paypal. He said these took longer that 3 working days. I asked him for my Paypal account name, and he rang off.No employee has ever stated his ;name or department when answering callsGoing via paypal for a chargeback. Failing that, Small Claims Court. Here is their Companies House reference VAUX SPARES LTDCompany number 08861759Feb 2022, So.......... after putting feedback on the Parts Gateway site, an email turned up telling me that they had again sent the wheel (you know, the one they said wouldn't fit my car). Of course, it hasn't turned up, and you will not be surprised to learn that they didn't include the tracking number. The refund they promised they had sent to Paypal ? Nope. Must have got lost in the post.February. Paypal refunded me. Paypal didn't say whether they had received the reimbursement from VSpares, or, having received no reply from them, accepted my complaint and repaid me directly.Feb 14 - email from Trustpilot, saying VS had suggested I have reported on the wrong company ! Take a look at their reviews. Over 21% are bad. The 'good' reviews tend to be short, and very similar in style. Maybe wonder who wrote them ? I won't be having anything to do with this company again. Their Company Number is further up in this review, just so's were sure I didn't mistakenly tag the wrong company.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Waited 10 days for a part I'd paid for and the assured me was on it's way. 3 days of chasing them to be told they actually didn't have it and put the phone down. Please don't waste your time or money on these cowboys
