A lot of attractions are included in the pass which is a definite advantage. Unfortunately several attractions required reservations which could not be made online beforehand (Schönbrunn, Spanish riding school,…) So we were unable to attend some of these venues (Sissi museum, riding schools practice) Also the State rooms of Schönbrunn were not included and required another 10 euros per person ( and reservation). Don’t think we would buy the pass again for a next visit, unless all venues that need to be booked can be done online.
Please note: at Schönbrunn Palace, the Viennese Pass is only valid for the first part of the tour. So, you'll see very little of the palace. Unfortunately, no one, either when we validated our tickets or at the entrance, informed us of this. In the end, they denied us entry to the second part because we didn't have an additional ticket and couldn't buy one because they were sold out. We're very angry about this.
Attention please at Schönbrunn Palace, the Viennese Pass isn’t valid for all part of the Palace. So, you'll see very little of the palace. Unfortunately, no one, either when we validated our tickets or at the entrance, informed us of this. In the end, they denied us entry to the second part because we didn't have an additional ticket and couldn't buy one because they were sold out. Io penso che sia una pessima indicazione con un pass molto caro.
Pass works well. But package sent by post (without tracking!!!) never arrived. Had to pay again to get a digital pass in time. Will not get all the money back as there is no refund for postage and train tickets - it is n ot my fault that they sent 400€ worth of tickets and passes without tracking
The problem with this pass is that it's available midnight to midnight. If you activate it at 15:00, you basically have 2 days and 6 hours of availability because the hours from 00:00 to 15:00 are lost and most of museum close at 18:00
Easy to use in most museums and attractions.I used the Flexi Pass – make sure to use it for the most expensive tickets, otherwise it’s not worth it.For the Sisi Museum you need a reservation, but you can’t book for the next day, only for the same day. I think this could be improved, at least by allowing online reservations, because as it is now, you have to go to the same museum twice in one day.For Schönbrunn you can reserve one day in advance, but you have to go there for two days - no online reservation, too.In general, I believe it would be useful if you could book in advance online the five attractions you want to visit, and be able to reserve the day and time up to seven days ahead.
It was useful, but can be improved (when compared to other city's visitor pass)1. No phone app, no booklet -- would be nice to have an easy to access list of all the places on a map with basic/important information (luckily only 1 place we went do did not accept the ViennaPass)2. Very unclear when I can just walk up to the check point versus I need to go to ticket booth to get a separate ticket.3. Unclear when or if the audio guide is included4. Unclear what kind of ticket the pass can get -- ticket person at Schönbrunn Palace gave us tickets to the "State Apartments" instead of the "Palace ticket"5. No revisiting of the same site
