Happy with the wine cooler except that…

Happy with the wine cooler except that the lower section will not stay at 46 degrees. It stays at 48 degrees.

The shelves in this unit are weak

The shelves in this unit are weak. I previously owned a Vinotemp that had nice heavy duty shelves that slid out. This unit cools well, and is quiet but the shelves are not up to the standard of the rest of the unit.

A Great Value

We like this wine chiller. It has a great capacity, although we cannot image 300 bottles. The shelves are sturdy and easily moved and repositioned. The temps are stable. The exterior is a nice finish. It is about the size of a kitchen fridge. The lock is good if you require it. Delivery was amazing. We would highly recommend this wine chiller. We purchased through Costco.com.

Long Time Satisfied Customer

The Vinotemp unit that I have had for many years finally needed a new cooler unit. The Service Dept. worked with me to ID the correct replacement unit and send it my way. Installation was ez and new unit is working great.

still waiting two months later for my repaired units (2 units) which i have not even received word about. really?!? Two calls in, and so far not even one response as to where or how my units are doing.

Great Customer Service - Richard was patient and amazing

Richard was patient and amazing. He guided me through the troubleshooting process via the online chat. The process involved several back and forth to the wine refrigerator to test different areas and report back. He sent me videos and diagrams via email to help the process. He identified the problem to the Control Board after three tests. Ordered the part. Arrived in 4 business days. Replaced it yesterday after watching the video he sent. Took about 45 minutes. Everything is back to normal. Thank you.

Product good, but pricey for its size. Shipping is another story....

As the title says, I like the product, and after 2 months its seems to be running reliably and it looks good, although it is in my pantry. If you had this in the open, the blue light of the temp display may be a bit much, it is very bright, and there is no control to tone it down. Otherwise, it is not overly noisy, and maintains temp well. I would give the product a B, B+ on product merit. Pricing, if you pay VT delivery, is however outrageous. The unit itself is almost fairly price, still a little high in my opinion, but if it stays reliable for several years then worth it. However, delivery price from VT is just TOO HIGH. So I bought this particular model, because it is offered by Costco at a price equal purchase price but includes shipping. Now shipping was another matter, and I think Costco may be more at fault, but did VT contribute? My unit was at the VT warehouse in Henderson NV. Instead of shipping directly to southern Idaho, about 8 hrs, it was sent to LA to be pulled together with a larger shipment to SLC. So it went right by the Las Vegas area again. Then in SLC it was given to another carrier, who has offices in Idaho Falls and Boise, but it went the wrong way to Idaho Falls. So they sent it to Boise, right past my house. Then it had to come backwards from Boise to my house. This all caused a delay of at least a week past scheduled date, and 2 weeks if it could have come direct. I had to make several phones calls voicing my displeasure to get it when I did or it would have been another week.
