Got a "great deal" on a VinoTemp 2 bottle wine cooler/preserver for $59.99 at the Navy Exchange on clearance only to realize they no longer sell the nitrogen cartridges and the few places that do sell them for $220 for 5 cartridges. Okay no big deal I'm handy and can figure that out. My floor model was missing the spouts so I contacted them to order replacements. Their website has no phone number so I e-mailed them over the course of 3 days to finally get a response that the spouts I need are available to order but I live in HI so I need to pay extra for shipping. Understandable. They quote me for the extra shipping and then I ask to pay and place the order. I'm told all orders must be placed over the phone. (Why not just put the phone number on the website if this is the case?) Okay... still going through their process. They attempt to call me but can't get through so I google "vinotemp phone number" in order to find their number because their e-mail service rep did not provide it after being unable to call me. My first 30 minute phone call left me with an order that was placed improperly and had to be routed to the accounting department in order to add the shipping that she forgot to add. Several hours later I receive an e-mail stating my order had been canceled and I would be refunded causing me to have call back in to make a second attempt. 20 minutes later the representative supposedly has made a new order with all the correct shipping but refuses to send me a verification e-mail prior to disconnecting (how I caught that the shipping charge was missing). A couple of minutes later I receive the e-mail with no receipt attached of confirmation of an order placed but no itemized receipt in order to verify that I will be receiving 2 spouts and the proper shipping is applied. I reply to the e-mail in order to get the itemized receipt and i immediately receive an e-mail for a completely different order for some lady in Canada. I had to call back in for a third time in order to request the proper invoice to be sent. It was finally correct! Not sure how this company got to this level of incompetence in logistics but wow.

Shocking lack of quality from Brama/Vinotemp. My brand-new Brama Retro Refrigerator (Model BR-RETRO-01-B, Capacity 281L / 9.9 cu ft) never cooled for even a minute because the compressor was completely nonfunctional. The unit came equipped with a UKN52YA R600a compressor, and it failed straight out of the box.The compressor ran hot, but the copper discharge line and condenser stayed room temperature — a textbook sealed-system failure and clear evidence that the compressor wasn’t pumping refrigerant at all. This was a true dead-on-arrival unit despite following all setup instructions, including letting the fridge stand upright for 24 hours before powering it on.Brama/Vinotemp chose this compressor and are responsible for quality control. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this product line.
Purchased a $3,600 Wine Cooling System (WM-4510HZD) just over two years ago. The unit worked fine for those two years, then it stopped cooling. Vinotemp customer service personnel was of little help. I was told the unit was out of warranty (only 1 year!) and, clearly reading from a script, I was advised to "try vacuuming the rear air intake," which I had already done. The more I talked to this service tech the more obvious it became that I knew more about how the unit functioned than he did! With no other solutions offered by this Vinotemp representative, he gave me the name of two independent service companies in my area. The first was somewhat annoyed by my call, noting that they do not service Vinotemp units but, despite their efforts to stop the company from referring service business to them, they still get calls from Vinotemp customers. The second independent company agreed to come out to service the unit. It was diagnosed as having a possible coolant leak in the system, which could not be found. I was offered the opportunity to try re-charging the system (for $350) and hope for the best or replacing the unit altogether. I tried re-charging, which helped a little for a couple days but then it was right back to warm air blowing into my wine cellar. One more call to Vinotemp proved to be a complete waste of time. I asked for anyone there that could answer a couple technical questions for me. The response was that there was no one that could answer any of my questions or help me. Again, I was referred to independent service. The customer care (which sounds like it's outsourced to an overseas third party contractor) is worthless. I've had dealings with Vinotemp in prior years with other units and the experience, including customer care, was pretty good. Now, however, under the new ownership of Legacy One, it's a nightmare. Agree with so many other reviewers who warn against purchasing any products from this company.
Purchased Undercounter Wine Cooler/Refrigerator direct from Vinotemp (Henderson, Nv) delivered Jan 2022. The unit didn't not make it thru it's 3rd year before total failure. Communicating with Vinotemp customer service was a dead end. Strange thing was, when first delivered I noticed how 'flimsy' the design was (Frame, Leveling Feet, Door, Shelf Design, etc). Absolute cheap chinese junk. Sourced a Samsung replacement model. Everything is better right down to the sliding shelves roller bearing design. Due to engineering, manufacturing & customer support I will never buy anything from Vinotemp again. My recommendation: look at Samsung, pay a little more and get a quality unit...
One star only because zero is not an option.Condensation forms on the door when the outside temperature is above 70. After months of communication with customer service, the door was replaced. Being that the repair was in January in Wisconsin, we were unable to confirm the new door solved the problem. Now June, the first day it was above 70 and condensation has formed again. They asked if it was in a location causing condensation to form, but someone will investigate…I’ve asked for someone to call me but they have now stopped communicating
I brought model MatchVinotemp Private Reserve Series 24 in. Stainless Steel Indoor or Outdoor Dual Zone Beverage and Wine Cellar Model VT-OUTDR24GD It was missing 6 black covers and 1 big stainless Steele hole covers for where the door hinges go . And I’ve contacted the company multiple times and they only send the black but not the BIG Stainless Steel .BAD BAD SERVICE Don’t buy from them
I own a wine cooler-Vinotemp, Model # VT-46TS-2Z. My wine cooler went dead, as in no electrical power. Since the cooler is out of warranty, I called Vinotemp to inquire about an authorized service representative(s) in my area. Vinotemp provided 2 names listed below. It should be noted that these names are different from the names on Vinotemp website.1. Appliancepro-Tech (1-848-244-4918): This company has a 100% terrible reviews. Hence, I did not contact them.2. Masterservice Appliance Repair (1-201-888-5997): I called them twice.First time, I contacted them on April 2, 2025: I was asked what is the issue. I started explaining and after a few seconds I was told that they are busy and will call me back. They never called back.Second time, I contacted them on April 3, 2025: I was told that they never worked on Vinotemp.I am calling your attention to Vinotemp's lack of care and responsibility for the customer. Not only the information they provide is different from the information on their website, but the provided information yielded one service contact with terrible references, and the other service contact that never worked on Vinotemp wine coolers. In the meantime, my wine is spoiling without a proper temperature environment.
This is the second Vinotemp VT-32 Wine Cooler I have purchased. The first lasted over 10 years which apparently was pretty good. It broke I spent about $500 trying to fix it. That was my first mistake. The second was buying a second VT-32 for about $1200. This one last less than 3 years and Vinotemp basically says “too bad, it is out of warranty, here is a list of repair places.” Service support is worthless. Repairing costs a minimum of $100 just to look at it. Vinotemp makes junk. Do not buy. It is better to buy a non-brand off Amazon for one-third the price and replace it after a few years than buy a Vinotemp for 3 times the price. By the way, Vinotemp says they make and assemble their wine coolers in the USA. That may be true for the very high end units. Lower end units are made in China. So they are liars, too.
