Bolts right in to 700 bottle storage unit.

Bought the 700 unit storage unit through Costco 20 years ago. I had to get the refrigeration unit recharged a couple of times over the years. Finally bought a new unit and it plugged right in and works perfectly. New unit had digital temperature gauge which is a plus.

cooler work for only two days

cooler work for only two days, the problem lied on how to get it repaired. They want to you ship it back to them for repair, it is a bulky 40 pound item. Felt very expensive to have to do this every time it may need a repair.

Good, but with issues

The fridge came damaged from shipping. The company didn't do anything to help follow up. It is a good fridge for insulation and dual zones, but if you fill it up, it is hard to get to the wines in the back. Stacked wines move when it you pull it out and the wood feels like it is unstable with the weight. It is good for what it does, but a little expensive for what you get.

This little beverage fridge is ideal…

This little beverage fridge is ideal for my needs. It fits perfectly in the slot where the dishwasher used to be, but seeing as there are only two of us, a drink fridge was a much better use of real estate. It keeps bottles out of the main fridge, it holds quite a bit, it has a cool lighting system, it doesn't use a lot of electricity, it was a breeze to install, it holds, wine, beer, soda, water, protein drinks... So, I'm a happy customer and I recommend this product.

WINEMATE 1500-CD--DO NOT BUY

Recently our new homebuilding company attempted an install of the Winemate 1500-CD for a client. The customer purchased it based on the diagrams represented on-line. These diagrams and materials that come with this unit do not tell the full story of the application. First, you must pull air from an adjacent room and stick the unit up against that other room wall with a large opening. Ours was a bedroom and it would not work because of ambient noise. It also does not come with any mounting flange. There is no way to not breach the vapor barrier and seal it up from the wall cavity with this application without half-ass rigging it and hope the wall doesn't get moisture in the cavity. There is no framing diagram that shows how you will need to prepare the opening--even the dimensions on the manual are incomplete. There is also internally differing opinions from the service technicians if it can vent into an attic--some said yes, some said no. This is a very, very elementary system that has very little application in our opinion. We have done a dozen temperature controlled rooms and this isn't anything I'd pay $1 for. We recommend upgrade to a better unit or buy one elsewhere.

Look Elsewhere. Anywhere Else.

Sold us a specific, in stock unit May 25, said it would ship ASAP. A month later, not shipped, and not even available any more. Agreed to substitution of another in stock item, on assurance it would ship ASAP. We warned we would cancel if they didn't. Total misrepresentations, numerous emails and phone calls. Kept promising it ASAP. As of July 10, still not shipped, said it would be at least another month before we got it, so we cancelled. Now can't get back money, AmEx continues to fight with them, and have been totally non-responsive in trying to resolve it. Run the other way. You cannot trust them.

“ Buyer be Ware “ a buying this piece of .... junk “ !!!! I am soooooo disappointed to purchase this Beverage Cooler at an “ over priced “ discounted price, along with a 3 year warrenty program ... only to discover ( so far ) an unresponsive Service Team to address my concerns ?????This is an extremely noisy unit to has a humming, gurgling, dripping sound that “ never “ stops ~~~ Soooooooo Disrupting in our Entertainment/ Bar area !!!!! Finally, Jasmine, has been a pleasant surprise to attempt to assist me after “ Richard “ and, a real “ Light-weight “ Treavor, has simply passed the buck ???? Again, We purchased this unit after a consider amount of research and comparisons ~~~ unfortunately, “ This Expensive Unit “ and their Service Department is a Huge Disappointment !!!! Don’t Buy Direct ~~ Purchase from Lowe’s or Home Depot where they’ll stand by their product and warrenty !!!!! Steve
