The delivery of the refrigerator arrived on time, and the crew were able to place it on my deck, just outside my kitchen. I successfully moved it to the space inside our cabin, and set it up. Easy to adjust the temperature between the wine and beer sections, as well as getting the shelves set correctly. Works perfectly!
The unit generally works well. The bottle racks could be a bit easier to use. They only hold standard size bordeaux bottles. If the bordeaux style bottle is a little longer it is difficult to make the bottle fit on the rack. It is also difficult to slide the bottle racks out to remove a bottle when the rack is full. I've had the unit for 3 months and it holds the temperature within 1-2 degrees of what you set it at. I monitor the temperature with a 2nd thermometer that I placed in the unit. Overall I'm satisfied with the unit but the racks could be improved.
I ordered a replacement cooling unit for my wine cabinet that I bought in 2002. I exchanged a couple phone calls and emails with the sales agent who figured out what unit I needed as a replacement. So far, so good. The new unit is working and keeping my wine at 55 F. Vinotemp kept me informed about costs, etc. and delivered on what they promised.
I had a 450 bottle Venotemp for 13 years and decided to downsize to the 166 bottle version. Both are great. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the shelves are a bit tight for larger 750 ml bottles, which make pulling them out a bit of a hassle. But the temperature is rock steady at 55°, and quality and durability are excellent. I definitely recommend Venotemp.
