Volkswagen Kirkcaldy Had a problem with removing the headrest from the front passenger seat. Went to the dealer to ask how to do it. When I walked in there was a rep on the right hand side and he immediately greeted me and asked if I was ok. I told him what my problem is and, without hesitation, he stood up and said he'd do it for me.Dan removed the headrest for me with a smile (surprisingly, not as easy as it used to be, with the new cars).Dan, you're a legend! Thank you for your help!!
i have nothing negative to comment when it comes to VW cars....reliable and quite nice...i also read that CEO announced a relasae of a new EV car, that will cost around 20k usd...idk. not fan of EV to be honest, I thnk the compay should concentate on traditioanl petrol based cars...one thing i want is to see better electronics inside the cars,it is good, but can be better
I called this VW of West Islip (New York) dealer about the ID Buzz they advertised online for $47,996. Since I'm out of state, I asked for the out-the-door price. First, “Mariah” tells me they only provide OTD prices if you're at the showroom. But she passes me to Kate Jordan, who immediately hands me off to “Greg”. Greg also waffles on pricing, saying he needs to talk to the general manager and will get back to me. Hours later, I get a text saying they will beat any offer I get in writing from another dealer. Are you kidding me? Why did we all waste each other’s time if you’re just going to run a bait ad, advertise a low price, and never honor it? There are plenty of other VW dealers… go to them and don’t waste your time here with these fools.
If could rate VW Australia as a zero or negative rating I would. I have owned four VW's as an ex dealer and only one was not faulty. My current Arteon is two years old and has been back to the dealer 14 times for warranty issues that are still not resolved. VW Australia have rejected all complaints with no explanation. Unfortunately since moving manufacturing from Germany, this brand is now terrible for quality, coupled with lack of any service means no more purchasing across the group for me. No Porsche, Audi, Volvo or VW from hereon.
Brought a brand new Tiguan, last 12 months been back to garage 7/8 times ranging from not starting to emergency braking at 50 mph , and all vw do is plug it into the computer and say there’s no faults ( car lights up like a Christmas tree) , steer clear of vw products, they really are not bothered in aftercare , got to a point where I’m taking legal advice
I have just bought a VW Golf from the VW garage in Stoke. Meg was absolutely brilliant and supportive joined by Chris. I will certainly be recommending them to my friends. I don’t write many reviews but their service and professionalism warrants it.
We own a 2019 VW Caravelle.... extremely disappointing & unexplained "wear & tear", considering it's the occasional use family car & has cost loads in repairs & diagnostic fees! It was bought brand new, sat in the driveway unused throughout covid, serviced religiously & now has barely 31,500km mileage but has needed a new (expensive) radiator, wheel sensors changed twice, front suspension/shocks, rear wheel bearing..... ridiculous! Even getting a slot at the VW garage for repair is war- weeks for an appointment. You have to pay for diagnostics everytime. Was not value for purchasing cost AT ALL & can't wait to get rid of it. Very sad because had always been told VW was hardy & reliable.
VW has reemerged from its temproraty fall out from , now they are investing in electro cars. ANd honestly I think this is the right move, better to have a division with EV cars as well. Taking into account their great manufacturing foundation, this wont be difficult to them...and recetly their CEO announced a new electro car model, its cost is around 25,000 eur. really nice to be honest...Apart from that, their new petrol driven cars are still good, quality ones, I am driving tourareg and so far no problems, little maintenance costs , great fuel consumption, and their tech service is 👍
