The most amazing vehicles on planet Earth, the quality and the price beats everything out there but but most people probably do not know is the ergonomic sits in those cars are basically same as you would get in a Lamborghini because it’s homemade at the same factory so actually even though Volkswagen is associated with cheap cars however if you would drive two cars at the same time like I do I have a Volkswagen and I have a Cadillac CTS, so the VW is much better Starting from the radio all the way up to the tire noise, just people don’t understand that you just really need to drive side-by-side like for 3 Hours Dr. one car for three hours driving on the
Shockingly poor experience with VW today, unable to charge our ID3 as the charging flap is stuck closed. Already had AA out via VW to try and fix it, unable to, so we asked to take it in and have a courtesy car while it's fixed - problem is covered by the VW warranty. Because we happen to already have an appointment booked in for a recall update, we've been told we can't have a courtesy car as the dealership have none available, and VW won't allow a booking for one because we already have an appointment booked in - completely ridiculous policy when our car that's under warranty currently can't be charged. Told to drive the car until we run out of charge then call the AA to take us in, only THEN can we have a courtesy car. Unable to get to work without the car, but it seems that's not their problem until we've actually broken down. VW you need to review your policies, this is ridiculous. You also need to stop blaming your dealerships when the policy is VW policy, not theirs. Take responsibility!
I was sold scratch and dent protection by VW as part of buying a new VW Golf, for an extra cost.VW has selected Car Care Plan, based in Yorkshire, to run the policy and the actual repairs/assessment is done by DWV.During the last six months I have been making a claim for a small dent on my car. It is the only claim I have made in the last four years It has been declined because apparently the dent is more than three millimetres deepThroughout this process is been total nightmareCar Care Plan I've had to chase constantly through the process and they have consistently not bothered to reply to meDWV seemed to be the one that made the claims decisionThey asked for proof of the size of the dent by sending a pic of the dent with a £1 coin in the is fos scale (which is three millimeters high apparently)I sent a number of clear pics showing how small is - with the pound coin - clearly showing it’s less than 3mmThey declined the claimAs justification, they sent their own picture showing the dent The picture was a from a long distance, blurry, and, even though DWV requested ME to show scale by using the pound coin - THE PICTURE DWV USED HAD NO SCALE/NO POUND COINNevertheless, the rejected my claim solely with the evidence of THEIR, poor pictureThis is now been going on for six months I hold VW responsible for selecting a poor partner, Car Care Plan for dreadful customs service and DWV for making a poor decision just to avoid the cost of settling my small claim
Disgraceful customer service from VW Group after engine failure on a 5 year old Seat Ateca. After three months of investigation into the fault, VW ruled that extended warranty would not cover engine replacement due to a foreign object getting into cambelt casing and causing it to skip which caused irreparable engine damage. Leaving us with a cost of at least £7k at the end of our PCP agreement. No explanation of how a 'foreign object' got into the casing or evidence of this object. Contradicting advice from technician (who advised cambelt was shredded) and VWFS warranty company (who provided photos of intact cambelt with serial number worn off - suspicious!)Poor communication though out and no consideration for the customer. I have written to Watchdog and will seek legal assistance from Citizens advice.
Sold my 2017 VW Tiguan R Line today after only 9 months. Out the 9 months I had problems for 6 of them the most prominent problem was the panoramic roof Although the car came with a 2 year manufacturers warranty, when i took to Beadles the main dealer they wanted £180.00 just to look at it. Speaking to VW they said dealers can charge what they want, but surely if it's a warranty issue then there should be no charge. Checking online there seems to be a lot of 2017 Tiguan R Line owners with the same problem. Therefore this is a design fault and the cars need to be recalled. Finally managed to get the dealer I bought the car from to repair it under the warranty and whilst it was there they found a couple of sensors that were also faulty. I lost faith in the car after that and having paid over £21000.00 I have sold it. I am disgusted by the attitude of VW and their main dealer Beadles, what is the point of a warranty when as soon as you have a problem they change the rules. No more VW cars for me
Volkswagen PRESTIGE WODONGA - I could give zero if there was an option available. We purchased a used car(Golf) for $17800 year 2018 mileage was 38K. So we had to do 1 regular service(spend around 500) and 1 major service(spent around 1700) till date. The car ran out of warranty 3-4 months ago. Unfortunately, during the Christmas holiday the car broke down because of the oil leak from the engine. We were coming back home from the holiday destination and we couldn't find a single service center open due to being shut for Christmas holiday. We had to drive the car to come home because we had work. We towed the car to Volkwagen prestige from Albury and informed them the situation. They did the check and found the cam shaft has to be replaced and will cost $2200. So we requested them to compensate us by giving discount on the service as the major service was done 5 months ago. Today they rang and advised the request for the discount didn't approve because we drove the car when it was overheated. Well they expect us to tow the car to Wodonga(270km) and want us to walk home from Seymour. These are some bunch of incompetent people who is running the show there and don't take any responsibility after ripping off thousands of dollars. We had hundred of other options available but we chose Volkswagen because of the good faith and this is how they are repaying us. Please please ignore buying old car from Volkswagen Prestige unfortunately they will give you trouble in the long run and charge you fortune to fix them.
Hi, my salesmen is Modestas Sinkevicius at Watford VW centre.. he was professional, informative, understood my queries and was helpful though the whole process! Would definitely recommend Modestas to purchase a car from VW for an easy helpful stress free experience
We have got two Volkswagen cars. I have had my cars serviced at two main dealers in Kent. when i take my cars for a service the staff at Dartford VW and the Staff at Otford VW. They are very unfriendly. And make you feel that you are doing them a favour. My son who is young has been with me on a couple of occasions has even commented on this. i will not be using VW anymore.
