Review Time
This is my last ever VW.I have a VW T6 shuttle 2019 T6, 30k on the clock. MOT and 3rd service picked up on a crank shaft seal weep and slight water pump leak, my garage of choice a registered VW/not actual VW, says it’s the third one they’ve had in, in the last week! Surely I shouldn’t be looking at these sort of issues with only 30k on it?This is just my latest issue of quite a few, local dealer is next to useless, buying something Japanese next.German quality? There is no such thing anymore.
This car literally doesn't work, battery and software, even after 4 visits to the dealer with proof that my family was in danger locked in the car and with evidence from specialists, they can't do anything because they can't find the problem and many customers are unhappy. Customer service is horrible and they denied road service on this lease, without asking about the problem, should they call my insurance... please, I don't know what to do, I don't use the car for the safety of my family.
Contacted VW as a documented fault, lane keep assist system failed and a permanent yellow light now on my dashboard. This is just over my 3 year warranty. I wrote to them escalating this. They then issued their final position saying I had to pay for diagnostics of this known fault with no guarantee I wouldn't need to pay for the repair. I have bought VWs for years. This Golf will be my last. So disappointed as I always have found them reliable.
RE: VW MARSHALL, Barnstaple Shocking, liars who have no accountability for their failures.The manager Ross, Has outright LIED by saying I refused to return a loan vehicle and demanded it be collected. (A moronic statement when you realise that I would need to drive the loan vehicle back in order to collect my car!) This accusation is an entire FABRICATION. This is in response to an official complaint I made due to the shocking service as a way to exonerate themselves of any responsibility. Make sure you always get a photo to show you have returned any loan vehicle in case they try to use this on you. I have had nothing but issues here.
My I.D 4, was only 3 months old when it suddenly stopped working, this was due to battery issues. However these things happen and its how VW have dealt with the issue not the car itself that is dissapointing.Repeatedly they have failed to give updates, asking us to chase them and to liase between VW and the dealership, including being asked to negotiate with the dealership so that they pay the insurance for a courtesy car not VW Corporate. Also being told that they couldn't give me all the details due to privacy!! ITS MY CAR.The customer service team refused to let me speak, when I said politely can I please make my point, after letting them speak they said "No because your view is pointless".AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
My god VW uk HQ , Customer services in Milton Keynes uk , OMG just horrendous!It’s probably futile writing this after seeing all the other complaints ; as they really do not care a jot .They play phone tag , computer generated emails ,Never call back when they say they will VW uk you ought to be ashamed of yourselves ! Avoid plug in Tiguan's 2025 Software issues that they certainly do not fix speedily or haven’t a clue how to fix . Major issues that’s kept very hush hush . Volkswagen uk you’re an absolute disgrace !! you treat your paying customers like absolute muppets , you don’t care one iota!!!😡😡😡😡😡
had been a customer of vw for some 30 years and as a commercial customer pleased with local garage over the years in regards service Ect unfortunately decided to change my 4/5 yr vw Amorok to the new vw Amorok and is currently sitting in garage over two months awaiting parts which are in back order and nobody can say when they will be in stock as I bought this vehicle for my business to tow with due to towing capacity I was given a van by my local dealer but they state can't get insurance for a 4x4 loan vehicle and I have stated the loan van was of no use to me as required something with 4X4 and capacity but to no avail an they stated to contact customer services when I did this something similar to some of other comments I was asked what I had done to see if parts available in other VW Dealers and asked for part nos for the back ordered parts and I explained how would I know this and had vw customers now to start doing VW S, Work after paying a substantial amount for the new vehicle and "customer advisor asks what did I want them to do I asked if the contact was UK VW CUSTOMER SERVICE based in England and was informed yes but when raised complaint a manager contacted me to state that I should not have been treated like this an when I pushed again on where VW GB was based I was informed I was talking to South Africa where VW UK WAS BASED I stated that this was not correct to show in booklet that came with vehicle which stated based in Milton Keanes uk (which was normally contact centre ) I am currently hiring a 4X4 vehicle from a vehicle dealer on top of paying for my pickup sitting in garage. my local dealer has always been very helpful but they state that this is now taken away from them in regards contact /ordering parts and iam not the only person in regards these issues I have lost all faith in the company(VW ) and feel since covid that nobody takes ownership of their product and wonder if this is the start of issues on a vehicle with just over 4k on it I wonder what the vw executive in charge of the brand in UK feel about such negative feedback and appears if they keep giving apologises for the issue but unable to say when the part will be in stock and I have stated how can I run my business and unable to plan due to above issues.The customer centre state they can't see what vw uk have on file due to data protection in another country and wonder who's brainwave it was to farm out to overseas the Vw brand had been taking a knock this past few years in the press and I was supporting brand as over years I was given good service by local dealer I thought they would be keen to win back and keep long term customers and "word of mouth"is the name of the game in the commercial world and I will be making sure to warn any of my contacts thinking of purchasing VW products due to the shabby dealings Iam. currently experiencing and basically being put from one section to another ...hoping I will get tired and go away
