Our band new VW Tiguan have issues with lane assist , this has been discussed with VW dealership and UK customer service for few months now and vehicle been under investigation for few times , the last update is Steering wheel is faulty but they do not have it and as there are many customers have the same issue it is on back log and there is no ETA and may take months to get it according to VW UK. This is an absolute nightmare.
SERIOUSLY BAD SERVICE FROM VW CUSTOMER SERVICES & VERTU VW HEREFORDI have a brand VW Transporter Kombi with a problem where rain water is getting in through the sliding doors so I cannot use the rear seats, I complained about this fault to Vertu Motors Hereford on my second day of ownership, so they collected the vehicle and could not find or replicate the problem using VW's method of finding the fault so unfortunately i cannot have a refund or the problem fixed. I have not driven the van in 4 months that I have had it since buying it brand new. So my 50k van sits outside and cannot be driven.
Another disappointment from VW Marshalls St Albans Dealer, after agreeing with Charlotte over 4 weeks ago to get our automatic vehicle booked for diagnostics and requested for an automatic car loan car due to health reasons. I was forced to take a manual car 😡. If you knew you could not provide an automatic car as agreed why book our car in the first place ??? The gentleman booking in our vehicle told me they only had 8 loan cars and all manual. This is unacceptable. I will not be coming back again. Please avoid if you can.
Worse experinces ever. CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR VW CANADA SUCKS AND IS THE WORSE. NO ONE RESPONDS TO YOU. I have been stuck dealing with them for yes 3 years with nothing but headches they say they fix one hting and then week goes by and its broken again. I had under warrante my turbo go, they fixed it and week later not even a week the turbo went again. then they took around 2 years to get the second turbo with telling me that it woudl be there soon and no communication only lies. Tehn i wanted to return the car because sitting htere fore two years woudl only create problems and sure enoungh they woudl't take it . i did not take a loaner car for the time they had it , as i didn't want them to say that they gave me something while i was waiting. customer service team sucks from VW that is a joke as well. I will never buy antoher VW again. what a jokethe dealership is also bad then when they gave me my car back the seal *(' of course I as i said sitting for 2 years ) went ont he cooling system. I had to pay for htat. They fized it" only two weeks later i have a damaged radiator with a leak in it that they say just happened . now another bill for that , this is a joke every mechanic said there is no way that woud lhavppen by itself. oh and the rad fan is cracked with no physical damage anywhere on the vehicle, remember this is a innner rad and fan. nothing can get in except the mechanic that worked on it. what a joke.
I recently had the dealings with VW Peterborough when my car required an MOT. It sadly failed due to one of the LED headlights motor failing and not setting the light beam at the required level.Initially the VW service advisor said i would have to pay for everything and it is definitely not covered under warranty.Chris however is a standout guy! He seen what was going on and intervened. He realised a LED headlight should not just fail after 20,000 miles and went above and beyond to get the correct outcome for the customer. He was able to get the issue resolved quickly and ensured the car was fixed under warranty and saved the customer from a unforeseen major bill. When speaking with Chris he was very polite and knowledgeable guy. He made sure any concerns were addressed and was the complete professional. There needs to be more people like Chris in this world. Please give him a pay rise!As if it was not for him this would be a very different outcome and a lot more custom would have been lost from VW
Words fail me when it comes to describe my experience with VW. My car (Tiguan 2018) is subject to a recall due to issues with the sunroof which means it is letting vast amounts of water in. When taken to Alan Day Hampstead, was advised that it wasn't a problem caused by the recall issue (blocked pipe) but another issue (also caused by a blocked pipe...) They want over a £1000 to repair and dry the car. It's at this point, my nightmare with Customer Services started. As the issue is effectively caused by the same part as the recall, I believe they should be liable for the cost. They were very sympathetic and said they would investigate. And then nothing. Despite repeated chasing via email, telephone, twitter and live chat for 2 weeks we are no further forward. In the meantime I am without a car which is sat doing nothing at Alan Day. To add insult to injury, Alan Day are now threatening to impose storage charges unless we can find a way forward. You couldn't make it up. I am close to tears as I write this and if anybody in VW is reading this, please please please get in touch.
My son is 19 years old and his life was just saved last night by a Volkswagen Jetta 2016 TSI 5 speed. Thank You God Almighty In Jesus Christ Heavenly Name!!!!!. A car pulled out in front of him around 10:30 at night he swerved to miss the car clipped a truck next to him And slid into a ditch that propelled him into the air flipping his car at least once maybe twice before coming to rest up against a series of Poles holding up a restaurant sign. When his car came to a stop he opened his door got out called 911 and went to check on the Person in the other vehicle who had to be cut out of their car and put on a helicopter to the hospital. My son only has minor scrapes and bruises no broken bones Thank you Volkswagen for all of your hard work and effort to create a vehicle that is safe enough for my 19 year old Son and saved his life!!!!!
Hi, I've recently dropped of my Mk7 E golf with a fault regarding its charge cap not opening. And since been told that dispite expressing the need for a vehicle and dependency for my Job, transport and other key tasks that I am being refused a curtesy car due to only storing 3 cars. I am discussed by this and am now going to be waiting until the end of the month before I can have my car returned to me. This will leave me in a very tricky situation financially and am seriously concerned.I asked if a car could be rented for me and I was told that only if I wjere to pay for the rental that it would be provided. What am I going to do?
Wouldnt have another VW (or VAG) vehicle given after my last few. Ive had VW’s, audis, seats, skodas for years now since passing my test at 17 (36 now) and always loved them until recently.-2019 vw caddy with 22,000 miles on and full service history has given me nothing but headache, stress and an empty wallet since the day I bought it. I replaced a 2005 caddy sdi with 150,000 miles on with this and would have the old one back over the new one anytime. I thought at 14 years old and the high milage it was about time I got a newer model so I didnt have to worry about the reliability, how wrong I was. The van Is now in the garage again and is going the journey as soonas I get it back this time-2018 skoda octavia vrs 4x4 owned from new, serviced by skoda dealer yearly and anything needed was done, car very well looked after, 25,000 miles done in 4 years with dealer history and now needs a full rear diff rebuild, this car has only ever been driven by my partner who either goes to work in it, her parents or drops the daughter at nursery, its never been driven hard and probably never been over 80mph.I have spoken tk 2 indipendant VAG technicians and a head of sales for one of thr biggest car dealer groups in the UK and they all said the same thing, wouldnt have a new vw given, you have to go back about 4 mk’s to get any gecent quality. They still charge ridiculous prices for low spec vehicles.Ford vans and JDM cars from now on, will never buy or own another VAG car or van again.
