I downloaded this app for what I thought to be a free trial. I have been charged £11.99 and £24.47 and now find that I have paid £176.99 through PayPal.I cancelled any further charges by email on August 13 to find that they have got my money on August 15 .This app is of little good to me as I am 76 and not in good physical shape.I have now complained to my bank. This is a scam please don’t get caught like me
Hugely disappointed with this app and company. I paid for the app, the cancellation information is very much hidden away and I got charged for another subscription that I did not want. When I got in touch with them I was told this would now be cancelled, not renewed and no further payment will be taken, and they could not refund me, this was in May. This month they have taken more money from my account even after they had confirmed they wouldn’t for a large amount that does not equate to any of their subscription costs! I am so annoyed and frustrated. Clearly not a genuine company, just taking money in random amounts! I am still trying to get this refunded, hoping I succeed this time! 🙏
On August 12th I wrote to them stating that I wanted to cancel my subscription. I had signed up in the app itself, not through Google. They claim they can not find my account even after I supplied them with the screenshots they asked for twice and 4 days after I told them to cancel the subscription they charged me again for $31... One week and 10 emails later I am still suffering. My account has not been canceled and I have not been refunded for the $31 they stole from me.
DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANYLadies & Gents, please read this before signing upI believed the offer was a one-time £5 trial, yet a £25 monthly fee appeared without notice. However, today I discovered that £25.00 was deducted from my account for a monthly subscription that I was unaware of. The details about this recurring charge were not clear to me when I signed up.When I contacted the company, I was informed that a refund could not be provided since the transaction had already gone through. BULLSQUIRT I am currently seeking legal advice regarding this situation.I am concerned that there may have been a misrepresentation during the signup process.Section 2 Fraud ActA representation is false if -"The person making it knows that it is, or might be, untrue or misleading."MISLEADING is the key word here. They have misled me.How many other customers have been duped by the advertisement? They are making a small fortune out of customers who believed but were misled into thinking it was a one-off payment of just £5.00. for a TRIAL.SAVE your money and go to a decent, honest, and credible company.I hate this sort of underhanded scam, and I will not leave here.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED -
I purchased a 30 day trial period for Walking Yoga. After opening the App, I realised it wasn't for me so I accepted that I would just lose the cost for the trial period and didn't use the App again. I was shocked to find that after the trial period, the subscription automatically renewed and I was charged for the next month. I checked my email which I received after ordering the program and there was no mention about the subscription except for a link to terms and conditions. I didn't open the link to check. I contacted the company to ask for some support and was met with a few very blunt responses saying they have a no refund policy. Given that this company boasts about the wellbeing and mental health benefits of walking Yoga, I find their customer service and support when a genuine mistake has been made appalling. Not even a notification that the trial was coming to an end and the amount that would be deducted from my account the following month. Looking at these reviews it's clear that I am not the first person to fall into the trap of their hidden terms and conditions. I would not recommend this company to anyone. UPDATE: Walking Yoga replies to these reviews very sympathetically asking customers to reach out for support. However when you do, they just responded with their terms and conditions. I contacted them with a screenshot saying I had ordered a one month plan and here is their response. Basically no intention to rectify the situation.Hello You replied to my review asking me to submit the order number and email address so you can look into the issue. As you can see here, I signed up to a one month plan - your words, not mine. I hope you can sort this outOrder DetailsOrder Number: 3099169Product: 1-month planRegards Thank you for following up and providing your order details.I can confirm that your Walking Yoga subscription has already been canceled, so you will not be charged again in the future. You will continue to have access to your plan until August 30, 2025, which is the end of your current billing period.I understand your concerns regarding the automatic renewal and the lack of a renewal notification. Our subscription terms, including the automatic renewal after the trial period, are outlined during the sign-up process. We do not send renewal reminders as part of our standard procedure, and this is stated in our Terms and Conditions.Regarding your refund request, our policy states that payments are non-refundable once processed. This policy is in place for all digital products and is outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which are available on our website.I appreciate your feedback and understand that this situation has been frustrating. If you have any further questions or need assistance with your account, please let me know.Best wishes,This email is a service from Walking Yoga. Delivered by Zendesk
I downloaded the app in April 2025 and started to use it. At the time, due to surgery, I was unable to go to the gym (including yoga and Pilates). I could only do light exercise such as walking.I found that the voiceover was repetitive and barely informative. I have a deep understanding of physiology and regularly attend yoga classes so I stopped using the app.I couldn’t see how to discontinue the app and on 8.8.25 noticed that £41.82 had been deducted from my account. On contacting the website, I received emails from two of the staff and basically, the terms of the contract are so poorly written that I failed to see how to discontinue my use of the app and therefore have to pay for another three months. On reading the reviews here, I am not the only person who has fallen foul of this and can see that this creates a lucrative source of funding for ‘Walking Yoga’ and the customer is powerless. In summary, my message is do not use this app.
