Worst washers ever just repaired mine not even 3 months ago and it’s starting to act like a peice of trash keeps throwing water in when not supposed to I try to drain and spin the water out and it keeps on throwing water out worst washer ever do not buy!!!! Not even the lights want to turn on anymore had this washer maybe a year and it’s a piece of shit bought it brand new from Lowe’s and man I will never buy on of these pieces of trash ever again!!!!!!!!
I purchased a whirlpool fridge on 3/12/2025. Delivered on 3/14/2025. 4/30/2025 it stopped working. I arrived home and everything in the freezer was thawed out and the fridge side was warm. A technician won't be able to come until almost a week later! It's noisy and runs continuously and does not get cool AT ALL!!! There seems to be no insulation, as everything went bad so quickly (which tells me that during a power outage the same thing would happen). Quality manufactured products are a thing of the past. These companies make crap products that don't last for anything and charge an arm and a leg for them (and then sell an extended warranty that's useless because it doesn't 'go into effect' until the one-year limited warranty is up). Hundreds in food wasted and a high energy bill for a fridge that stopped working in less than two months.The tech came out and said there is a sealed system issue and the compressor, drier and evap needs to be replaced (in a brand new fridge?!). but that the parts are on backorder for a few WEEKS! What am I supposed to do to have food in the house for me and my family for WEEKS until the part comes in? The retailer won't refund my money, and neither will Whirlpool. I've been robbed completely by both companies, as I paid for the fridge in full! They have my money and I have a piece of junk taking up space and doing nothing! All they keep saying is the warranty only covers parts... why am I even having to have this done on a fridge that's less than two months old! They need to refund my money and take this junk out of my house so that I can buy something else that will actually work for more than a month and a half!
I wrote a review directly to Whirlpool in regards to an oven that I have through their manufacturer. I stated that the oven has broken 3 times in 1.5 years; first the top oven stopped working, then the bottom, and now the top again. Whirlpool sent me an email back stating that they appreciated my feedback, but the review was not suitable for posting. There was not any inappropriate or aggressive language used in my review, but it didn’t fit the 5 star experiences that they want to post about. Whirlpool reviews are skewed because of this approach of moderating comments and concerns.
Whirlpool Customer Service is crap. I called and got hung up on 3 times. Just because I asked to speak to a customer service supervisor... A bunch of minimum wage, low intelligent workers, provable work from home and crap the company also, I could hear kids in the background.. I will never buy a whirlpool appliance again because of these people. I was told you won't get a discount unless you call and ask for it. You get what you hire Whirlpool, and you will never get me as a customer again.
We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator model number WRS571ClHZO4 on 6/27/24 for $1299 from Lowe’s in Alpharetta, Georgia. It has never worked properly since we bought it. Not one day! The temperature fluxuates from the expected temperature to up above 50 degrees for hours. We have had Whirlpool’s choice of repair people out to fix it. Today makes 11 repair visits. We have called Whirlpool (more than once) at the repair persons request to ask that the refrigerator be replaced. They just say “Well, there are other things that can be done to repair the refrigerator. Have the repair person back out.” I’m at my wits end. I have never ever been treated so badly by a corporation in my life and I’m no spring chicken! I hope you will heed my advice to NEVER buy a Whirlpool product ever!
Whirlpool has faulty Control Panels in Wall Oven models (Model: WOS51EC0HSxx) and they have Control Lock, if any power failure happens when this lock is enabled, after power is restored, this Control Lock can't be disabled, only way to fix is to replace the entire Control Panel, which costs $649. Usually this happens after the warranty expires. This is a big scam and they should take responsibility for the bug/faulty Control Panel software!!
I bought a home from Dr Horton in 2023. The home was furnished with all Whirlpool appliances. The initial appliance to break down was the range operation board. It blinks error. Then the dishwasher just stopped working. Next the washing machine will continues to run. I don’t if it’s because the builder buys in bulk they give them iffy products. Now I will replace the appliance with more reliable appliances that will last longer than the warranty. This is unfortunate and unacceptable. They do one job, “make appliances!”
Washer went down two and a half months ago still waiting on parts. Local repair guy told me that a lot of Whirlpool products are breaking down and having to wait months to get parts don't know what's going on but I'd stay away from Whirlpool right now
