Review Time
TLDR: Whirlpool Inside Pass may look like a good deal on paper, but what you’re really signing up for is weeks of wasted time, empty promises, and a company that can’t even honor its own words. If I could do it over, I’d go with Best Buy or Home Depot, where customer service doesn’t feel like a sketch comedy routine.I ordered four large appliances through Whirlpool Inside Pass on May 22, with all items marked as in stock and an estimated delivery date of May 29. I received no updates or communication, yet planned my schedule around the delivery. The appliances never arrived. What followed was four weeks of delays, misinformation, and runaround. Each time I contacted customer service, I was given a new delivery date—June 3, June 6, June 10, June 11, June 12, and so on. I repeatedly asked if a single item was holding up the order and offered to remove it. The answer was always “No, your order is still processing.”Eventually, I learned that every rep I spoke with had misled me—the order was never ready to ship because one appliance was still being built on the assembly line.To “make things right,” Whirlpool offered me $439 off the order. I accepted. After all, that felt like a fair gesture considering the massive inconvenience. Then came the punchline: in a follow-up chat, I was told they actually meant $43.90. Not $439—just one-tenth of that. But don’t worry, after a 20-minute phone call, they generously bumped it up to $63—because nothing says “customer appreciation” like haggling over your own written offer. In total, I spent nearly a month without appliances, including multiple weekends at the laundromat (at $30 total), taking time off work, and rearranging my schedule for deliveries that never showed up.The appliances finally arrived on June 23, almost a full month late. At this point, the entire experience felt like a poorly written sitcom—but I was the only one not laughing.
I called to order a filter today, 6/20/2025. The lady was rude and mean, so I do not know if I want to do business with this company anymore. I just bought a house, all appliances are from Whirlpool, so I decided to leave a review so people do not get stuck with this in situation. Whirlpool's customer service will disrespect you and treat you as Sh... so avoid buying their appliance
Got a brand new Whirlpool Dishwasher, October 2023, used it only 3 months in 2024 and for this past month. It just found out it will cost me $129. to find out that the computer is shot and $689. to replace it! Inexcusable and unacceptable. Hey Whirlpool, 🖕!
Your appliances are the worst ever every one I have is broken, fridge, dishwasher. it costs more to repair than they are worth, even YOUR CERTIFIED repairman said, His comment; they do this to get you to buy again! You are scum!!!!!EVERY FRIDIGAIR PRODUCT I HAVE HAD WAS RELIABLE AND PERFORMED GREAT,This is why I bought a Frigidaire stove which works well, your dishwasher and refrigerator are the ONLY APPLIANCE THAT DONT WORK IN MY HOUSE.
I bought a 7.4 cu front load smart dryer from them and literally immediately after testing dryer the next day it was leaking water everywhere. Not from pipes or even the center of the dryer. It’s literally leaking from dryer cracks. The day after that the product didn’t even cut on. You won’t know the product has an issue until you use it. The servicemen don’t stay long enough to fully see the product through. They can’t even get servicemen out in my area but 2 days a week. Customer Service is only open Monday-Friday 8-6pm est. so you have to take time out of your work schedule to set the issue addressed. They don’t disclose there process for if the dryer continues having issues, what should be done. They don’t replace the product. DO NOT BUY ANY WHIRLPOOL or Amana products. They are under the same umbrella. They don’t even allow you to readily leave a review on their website. There are plenty of other companies with better policies and confidence in their products.
Today I wrote to Whirlpool’s CEO MARC BITZER:I have spent the entire day using every (fraudulent) option offered by you to speak with a human being about my KitchenAid refrigerator! I've sat on hold during 6-calls each of which lasted for at least 20-minutes; scheduled a callback at 2:30pm which occurred but instantly got disconnected; tried every "CUSTOMER SERVICE" and “CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE" option Whirlpool falsely advertises!Have you no interest in retaining your customers? Do you have a clue how much business you're losing at the company YOU run?As a CEO I do EVERYTHING possible to RETAIN customers knowing that you have to spend ten times the revenue to attract a NEW customer vs. retaining your CURRENT consumers. I will be sure to broadcast my experience on every platform available. An utterly disgusted, and now former customer…
I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher about 6 months ago. It started malfunctioning a couple of weeks ago. I tried calling customer service all I got was hold music. I then chatted either a representative and a repair technician was scheduled to come out on 6/13. He was a no show, absolutely no contact whatsoever. I just chatted with customer service again and cannot get someone out until 6/26. This is unacceptable. I bought Whirlpool because I believed them to be a reputable company but am now sorry for my purchase.
I have a Whirlpool washer that’s less than a year old and still covered under the one year warranty I have spoken with Whirlpool about my repair issue and they advised me it is a fire hazard They advised they would send a repairman I received a call that the repairman wasn’t coming because he knew what the issue was Now the part o need is on a national back order and Whirlpool said it may be a month before my washer is fixed This is unacceptable!!! Whirlpool is not standing by their 1 year warranty A customer should not have to wait a month to have a washer fixed!!!
