Whirlpool is literally the worst. Their appliances are faulty and their customer service is severely lacking. My smart oven is stuck in controls lock and has been for months. I have seen on the internet that this is a pervasive issue with their ovens. I called to schedule a service appointment, which was for today, and was told they would have someone there between 8a - 4p. We rearranged our schedule to accommodate only to find out the servicer doesn't even offer an 8am - 4pm timeframe and would not be there until between 12p and 7pm, which we cannot be home for. Talking to whirlpool was like talking to a wall. Zero common sense. Zero customer support. Zero comprehension of the problems their faulty scheduling system cause.
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST. WE CANT EVEN GET THE LEG ON OUR STOVE FIXED SO IT IS SAFE BECAUSE ITS AFTER 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE....WELL IF WE HADNT BEEN SO BUSY WITH REPAIRING THE POS REFRIGERATOR WE ALSO BOUGHT. FROM DAY ONE THE FRIDGE DIDNT EVEN WORK RIGHT...ALREADY HAD TO HAVE A COMPLETE NEW FRIDGE DELIVERED AND IT DIDNT WORK RIGHT & THE DOORS WERE BENT...GOT SOME NEW DOORS DELIVERED FROM MEXICO & THEY WERE WORSE THAN THE ONES ON THERE & THEN THEY WONT FIX THE STOVE LEG BECAUSE ITS COSMETIC....OF COURSE NOW ITS UGLY ON THE OUTSIDE AS IT IS ON THE INSIDE....AND UNSAFE
This Whirlpool usa website is a 100% Chinese Scam. Previously went under the phony name of Frigidaire. They commit onlne Fraud against anyone that believes their deals are to good to pass up. They literally stole $123from me. I was skeptical and they kept sending emails with reminders and finally gave them the payent.
After less than a year, the freezer started going out and while I was waiting a couple of weeks for their repair man to come, the refrigerator stopped working. He came and diagnosed compressor going out and said they couldn't do anything because they don't work on those. Then I got a call saying this same repair company ordered the part and it's in back order! After a week of waiting longer, I called whirlpool and complained that I'm going on 2 months without a refrigerator and my part is on back order and can we just exchange it for a new one?! 2 months!!! They said they'd look into it and then emailed me saying that as soon as that part comes in, that company will be here to repair my fridge!! Seriously?! 2 months! What good is a warranty if at first the company claims they don't do compressors and then your customers are going weeks without their appliance because the company won't just request a new fridge since my parts on back order?? You want your customers to be satisfied with their purchase, but then don't care that they're without the item they purchased only because it turned to junk after only 9 months? this customer would throw the fridge out the window if I didn't over pay for it!
Just 4 months old refrigerator, started not working within couple of weeks from delivery date. Very unsafe and every 5-10 seconds power outage error message, 1st time they change electric board, not helpful. Again showing PO error messages within 1 month of 1st service. It will be best for me if whirlpool takes this refrigerator at free of cost
On Sept. 27, 2022, we purchased a new Maytag top-loader washer mod.no. MVW4505MW0 from Wilson’s Appl. & Mattresses, Conroe, TX. Mar. 11, 2023, the washer began making a horrible, loud sound of nylon gears stripping and stopped working. On Mar. 13, we reported the problem to Wilson Appl. Their service rep Chris came a week later, Mar. 21. Wilson immediately punted the matter to ASI Appliance, Inc., another service provider. ASI made 3 additional service calls and replaced the actuator, the gearbox, and the electric control board. Still the same problem. At the same time, I wrote to the CEO and Gen. Counsel of Whirlpool, parent of Maytag. I received numerous calls from a rep in Whirlpool’s corporate office, who insisted that they had to follow Whirlpool’s procedures. Finally, the defective washer was replaced under warranty on May 17, over two months after the initial report. Our washer was down the entire time.
So disappointed in my Whirlpool range, takes twice as long as manual says to pre-heat. Certified serviceman has been out three times in the five months I’ve used it. Master Technicians say it is within normal parameters. Meanwhile cookies and cakes don’t bake correctly and meatloaf is raw in the middle. Even with extended warranty no one will do anything.
