Bought a combined fridge/freezer for my country house from Trettio.se. After two years, the cooling started to fluctuate. Called Trettio, who said the warranty had expired. However, we have a 3-year right to claim in Sweden, so I was connected directly to Whirlpool. After insisting with Whirlpool, they reluctantly sent out a refrigerator technician. The technician came three times and more or less replaced everything in the machine – the entire electrical package, refilled the coolant, etc.It worked during the summer, but now when I come out after winter and turn on the fridge, it doesn't work at all – no cooling in either the fridge or the freezer.Called Whirlpool on May 14th, which is 14 days after the right to claim expired.Even though they know there was a fault with the fridge, they coldly say:You have to call your insurance company – the right to claim has expired.Another example of an American company that doesn't take care of its customers after producing crappy products.Just feel sad about how a company can't have more backbone and say: It's our fault – we'll fix it.Sad.
NEGATIVE. I placed order for front loader washer and dryer directly on Whirlpool website on April, 17 with installation date on April, 26. Rescheduled 3 times and still on hold until May, 9. On website still for sale but representative tell me out of stock ! Really disappointed ! I placed new order from Costco on same combo and received same price with 2 year warranty fro free and order shipped in 1 hr !
(1) US client service cannot give info on a dishwasher model they sell in Switzerland. (2) Not getting any response from Whirlpool Switzerland for a simple and common error code! No hope for technical support, I guess? I vow to never buy anything Whilrpool again.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Unable to get assistance with how to replace the filter. No accurate description available anywhere. Excessive hold times only to be hung up on by 3 different representatives. Do NOT BUY a whirlpool anything. You will have absolutely no support
The man who owned this condo before I bought it, bought ALL WHIRLPOOL. I AM LUCKY EVERY DAY, this is at least 20 years old. Just like a Toyota, they last. I can't be any happier of the workmanship, and durability. I won't be buying anything but a Whirlpool. You are a great, hard working company. I'm devoted to Toyota, and now you. Thank you.
I called about my Whirlpool washing machine. I gave them the pertinent info and they then asked me what was the date it was installed. DUH! Told them Lowes didn't tell me I needed to document that info. Got so frustrated with getting nowhere that I asked to speak with a manager. Waited forever to be connected and asked if I could leave my phone number for a callback. Never got a call and tried again and they were closed for the day. These companies have us in a bind as we need these products and it appears they can care less about their quality of customer service.
Whirlpool is the worst appliance company I have ever experienced. My new oven purchased in 2022 broke down ( only1 1/2 year old) I called Whirlpool they only warranty their appliances for 1 year. What? I thought appliances should last 10 yrs, at worst 5 yrs. But obviously Whirlpool knows their products are garbage thus the 1 yr warranty. They send me to repair contractor Appliance Resuce who canceled on me 4 times. I was feed up and requested another service provider. They sent me to Elite appliance, I told the Whirlpool customer service agent to advise Elite appliance that the oven needs an ignitor so that they will bring the part with them.My appointment was 5 days out. When they finally arrived they had NO PART stated Whirlpool did not let them know what part was needed therefore they did not bring it and I now have to wait an additional week for them to order part and return. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT EVER
DO NOT EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE!!! There is another class action lawsuit for their faulty wiring in their refrigerators. However, this issue is not isolated to Whirlpool refrigerators. I recently had to replace my 1.5 year old washing machine for the same wiring issue. After 18 months of use, the wires leading to the drain pump snapped. We called Whirlpool and it was of course out of warranty. We were forced to call an appliance repair company as we had a newborn baby at home. This repair company wanted to replace the entire motherboard. Being that the washer was almost brand new, we had a second repairman come out. He repaired the wires and got it working again. Two months later it happened again. He came back and fixed the wires again. The third time that the wires snapped was the final straw. I reached out to Whirlpool one more time to do right by their product. I wrote a negative review on Home Depot and Whirlpool. They posted what seemed like a very “concerned” reply and asked me to reach out via Facebook with a case number. After reaching out via Facebook, they suggested I download their app. Mind you, the wires were snapped. Their app was not going to fix this. When this “solution” didn’t work, they told me to reach out to their customer service number. When I called, they offered me 20% off a new washing machine. I would NEVER purchase anything Whirlpool. I don’t care who recommends these products, their company is absolutely disgraceful.
