SCAMMERS!!!

They hired a company that stole over a half of truck load of my belongings! They literally toook the most precious of my belongings. To add insult to injury, they deposited $200.00 in my account to appease me for a $4500.00 move from ATL to Maryland!!!

Book your move with confidence! A++

Everyone I've dealt with is top notch! The guys that came to pick up from the house are super nice, and very meticulous. I would definitely use this company again.Book your move with confidence. 🙂

Not just the worst moving experience, but the worst customer service experience in my life

Absolutely terrible. I have no idea how they're at 4.5 stars. Every time we spoke with them it was someone different, they contradicted the previous person, and the costs went up. Everything you can think of that could've gone wrong did. I could provide all the details but neither you nor I have time for that. Their tactics are aggressive, shady, and border on consumer fraud. They wait until you're in a compromised position (either up against a move date, they have your belongings on a truck, or both), and then they increase their costs by thousands of dollars and point to the agreement you signed with them that gives them the legal 'out'... but hey, I agreed to trust them and signed the agreement so it's my fault for falling for their bait and switch tactics, which they absolutely were. If you value your time, money, sanity, or there is anything that has the slightest bit of importance to you I would steer clear of this company and their affiliates.

Great to Horrible

The experience started off great. Once the movers got to my home that’s when all the small details they did not go over start coming to light. Not only did my quote more than double they told me that I’d have my furniture within one to two days of my first delivery date. Well that got miscommunicated to their movers and now I get the run around when I call Brightside and no one from Express will return my calls. So now they took my money and my furniture and will not provide decent communication. I’m so frustrated and now they are telling me it could take a month to get my furniture. If you can do a move using a U-Haul then do it. I do not recommend this company.

Horrific experience from start to end, now going to litigation!

I scheduled a long distance move from New York City to Atlanta for a May pick up and June 2nd delivery with Brightside. Turned out to be a horrible broker service–meaning all the promises they made about ensuring timely pick up and delivery date is all just BS. After selling the contract to Express Movers Inc./J & H Logistic Transportation, everything spiraled downhill from there and ended up costing me thousands of dollars in extra moving costs and damages that will now go to litigation as all parties refuse to engage in any type of customer service. Once the transport company owners (Moshe Gamay and Jay Al Khatib) have the money in their pocket, they will stop picking up calls and will instruct their employees not to pick up or return your calls. Brightside will deny any involvement after you sign.1) MOVING PROCESSi. They would/could not confirm an actual move pick up date/time until less than 12 hours before my "scheduled" window. They ended up coming 8.5 HOUR LATE!!! Same for delivery -- everything is an "estimate" despite what they promise you and when things hit the fan, they point to the small print which basically says they owe you pennies on the dollar for any damages and that there are no guarantees for anything.ii. Delivery was a bigger nightmare. They showed up three days before my earliest scheduled move in date (before my new place was even vacated by the last tenants and before my lease even began). When I let them know their mistake, it resulted in days of delay as they detoured down for another move in Florida. As a result I lost hundreds of dollars in my lease as the apartment sat completely empty and unusable, and my having to pay for a hotel to stay in.2) PRICE. The delivery estimate that they quote you is arbitrary. No matter what they quote, you will likely pay almost double after they've loaded the truck. Read the reviews. I was quoted $1700 for my move, which was supposed to include packing services. At the end of this, I ended up paying $2600 -- not including the thousands of dollars in damages and extra expenses due to their mistakes. Upon arrival, no one seemed to really know what was going on, and not only did they disregard clear instructions for what should go and what should stay (which also cost me very dearly), the packing and loading job was disorganized and extremely inefficient (i.e. not filling up boxes all the way so they could charge extra for additional boxes, packing items that were to be thrown away, again, using up extra boxes). Don't make the same mistake I did and try to save money -- it will come back and end up costing you at least double the difference and a huge amount of stress and headache.3) DAMAGES.i. Half of the furniture that was valuable enough for me to bring down with me was completely destroyed. Legs were broken off of chairs and dressers, furniture that should NOT be disassembled for some reason was taken apart (with no way to reassemble without completely severely compromising its integrity and aesthetic), TV boxes must have been thrown about, as one was broken and useless upon arrival and had to be thrown out. Glassware that they packed for me was shattered and broken.ii. Your property will NOT be looked after -- boxes will arrive comically crushed and torn. During my sales call, I was sold that items would be stored in a secure and safe environment until delivery. We were shocked to see the state of the delivery truck when it finally arrived. The back was just open during transit--IN THE RAIN. Boxes were soaked, almost a quarter of all my clothing and shoes (thousands of dollars worth) were completely destroyed.4) Customer service = NONEXISTENT. When the delivery finally arrived, they sent ONE PERSON! While Ismail was a lovely gem of a human, it was an impossibility that he could complete this move on his own. He brought one small dolly with him which could barely fit a few small boxes on it, much less my extra deep king mattress and any furniture pieces. My fiance saw him struggling to even budge the mattress in the truck and we ended up doing 70% of the actual lifting and moving ourselves. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR. I was told that the company would get back to me on a refund or some type of resolution. Never happened.5) LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY. During the delivery and after, Ismail expressed his sympathy and shock at the state of some of the damage. He was on the phone with his boss, Jay, a few times and they acknowledged error on their part and I was told I would be compensated. After they left, NOTHING. What do I get? A month of run around, hostility, and now verbatim "It was your choice to help with the move, not our problem." I have screenshots of texts where they promised some type of restitution that they're now backtracking on. Brightside has no conscience or accountability!

Do not use a Broker

The final cost was $3200 more than what was quoted initially. Brightside will raise the price on quality assurance calls, and the movers will raise the price in person. Do not use this service.

Please Read and Prepare if Used

Please do not use this company! I have been very frustrated with this process as it was not even close to how Shawn (salesman) described it. Shawn himself was very nice, but like most salesman the experience was completely different. The movers were two hours late, and when I called to ask why, I was told it was because "The guys are hungry and they needed to get breakfast" . After most of the move was done, I was charged for more than double the cubic feet, when I asked why he said "bulky items" I pressed further and measured our vanity/dresser which was 3.5/2/4 feet which is 28 feet which was an acceptable variation from 23 which me and Shawn discussed. However, the mover charged me for 100 cubic feet and when I asked how he calculated it he said it doesn't matter how big the item is because it's bulky and so he uses the calculation of an entire section of the truck around and above the area of where the item was placed. I asked to measure the "section of the truck" he said this could not be done because they would have to unpack the truck. I know I was overcharged for several items and there simply was nothing I could do about it because every answer I got was "it's bulky items" or "I've done this for 10 years" when we could clearly calculate the cubic feet of the "bulky" items. Furthermore, during pickup it was stressed that we would need to be there for our items which we were told would be there within 3-5 days. However, our stuff did not arrive anywhere near this deadline. I called in three separate times to find out where our stuff was. Each call I was told that an order to call the drivers would be put in and I would be called back the next day. None of the times was I called back, and it took until the third attempt calling them for them to reach out to the driver which ended up coming after three weeks. When our stuff was delivered, all of the boxes where not just broke down, but some where completely crushed to more than half of their size and where wet, saturated and soggy. On top of the that, our TV came completely broken. I reached out to the company and have still not heard back. I am extremely disappointed, as I really believed we partnered with a good ethical company, but in the end it was just another money grabbing operation that does not stand by their words or cared about their customers. They used kind and "caring" sales people and a customer service team that is the same, but no positive action is taken. The teams will simply gaslight you throughout a long and frustrating process

STOP, Don't do it

STOP, don't , just save yourself the many problems and issues, we had significant problems including changes to pricing, hidden charges when packing and failure to complete the job, poor communication, and lost or damaged items. When I contacted them over the damages and loss they send me to a 3rd party insurance company which never responded or resolved the issues.

**Stay away from this company**

**Stay away from this company** They gave me a quote, and 3 days before the move decided that the original quote wasn't enough, and wanted just under $3,000 more. When i tried to cancel, they kept the deposit knowing the original quote was too low. Very deceptive in their business practices, and they know it. I wish I could give negative stars!!

We booked Southwest Van lines…

We booked Southwest Van lines throughout Bright Side, and these movers are top-notch. It was the absolute best experience I have ever had with a cross-country move, and I would highly recommend it. They were kind, fast, and extremely deliberate in moving important items that held sentimental value. Vit and Artur were incredible. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you!!
