Worx Landroid...I made a mistake and purchased a Landroid WR153E 3 years ago. I had several issues with it since:-got stock in every 10-20 minutes-stopped with mower lifted error several times a day-rain sensor always detected rain so I had to turn it off-mower left the working area-left front wheel fell offWhenever I opened a ticket a I always received the same standard answer which basically blamed the customer always no matter what for incorrectly placing the boundary wires. When I proved with photos it's placed correctly, they seemed to be more helpful. When they accepted the ticket with the long list of issues, my mower spent 4 months at the service and another month in transit so it was away for 5 months in total. They replaced the broken wheel but also cracked the bottom of the mower. They stated it's fine, won't cause any issue. Well, they were wrong.Yesterday the mower was moving in circles only. After an hour I found the issue: the perimeter sensor connector is heavily corroded and surprise: it's sitting exactly where the bottom of the mower was damaged. I replaced the connector with a water tight automotive connector on both sides, now the sensors are working again but the signal strength is low so I assume either the motherboard or the sensors suffered some damage too. So I'm not a happy customer.Worx made a facebook group for Landroid owners, which supposed to be a group where we can describe the problems and help each other. Unfortunately the admins (Worx employees) has 1 task in the group: apply censorship. They delete comments and block posts where you try to describe a problem. You cannot even say that there is a problem with a Landroid. According to 1 of their comments, there is nothing wrong with the hardware and software, the users cannot install and use the Landroids properly. Sure, that's why they had 10 firmware updates with bug fixes in the past 3 years. No more Worx ever, moving to Husqvarna and I can suggest the same to everyone: think twice before purchasing anything from Worx, look for a proper brand, not worth to risk this amount of money.
My Worx Landroid robot lawnmower was out of warranty and Worx told me that they could arrange a repair with Letmerapair. I checked the reviews and queried with Worx whether the firm were competent. Worx told me that the negative reviews were all about laptops, tablets... and that they were good with robot mowers. They're not. They had the machine for months and returned it in a worse condition than it had been before.
** Update** To be fair they came good in the end and replaced the mower which has some better parts on it from what I can see (eg better power lever which broke early on my original). A lot of the messing around was DPD related with none pick up and delivering back without it ever reaching its destination. There was a bit of radio silence but perhaps that was due to the holiday period.Having a terrible time trying to get my mower fixed where plastic teeth on a part at the base of the motor have worn out. Patrick and Emma at Worx customer service originally seemed decent and ordered a pickup by DPD for my mower. This never materialised so another was arranged for when I arrived back from holiday. DPD came and picked up but then brought it back in my original packaging 3 days later! Patrick blamed this on a DPD error and arranged another pick up which once again never arrived! Since then I have not had any response and am left with a broken packaged up mower and a one foot tall lawn. Then I saw these reviews and my heart sank. Very poor to deal with and badly designed product
Purchased a nitro 21 in lawn mower it takes me 3 charges to complete my lawn. Gas mower took a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Batteries do not last but 25 to 1/2 hour only. Called customer service and all I get is sorry. Would not recommend anyone purchasing this as the 20v 5 amp batteries do not last as they state. If you have 2 days to mow your lawn than purchase there lawn mower. It takes 3 hours to get a full charge meaning it takes me 10 1/2 hours to mow a 1/3 of an acre.
Purchased a Worx WG 779E.1 34cm cut mower after 18 months it packed up.They then sent a replacement and that packed up after 2 months. The warranty has been approved.Exactly the same problem.Emma said it would be picked up last friday but nobody turned up.This week Patrick said it would be picked up, well well nobody turned up again.Steer clear as this product is not worth the money.By the way it maybe that we have asked for a full refund so we can buy something that works.we paid £100 more than the current price.Customer service is a waste of time if you deal with Emma Or Patrick
Bought the new vision model. And it works like crap…Cut to edge is a joke. Cuts 30 cm from edge Zones is not working Stops for a single high Gras straw if cutting disc is blocked it triesTo start for ever and no alarm. Runs in to trees and can’t get away fro Them. No help from word and dealer won’t take the shot in return.
their products are not great. their customer service is below rate one. buying products from worx is the worst experience. they don't provide shipping and tracking#. they don't send all items at once. if you trying to find your item, good luck. if you try from their site call us or whatever they name smart support good luck on it. all I can say to this company is I wish you company would go down hill faster than my finger typing and to people about to make a purchase. PLEASE DON'T
I have had a worx 20volt cordless drill/driver for about 5 years came with 2 battery's a fast charger and a solid case. I can't fault this drill it has done so much work and been trouble free it has been dropped multiple times both batteries still hold a full charge. I think it was £90 UK so less than £20 a year truly an excellent tool. I am slowly moving from Makita to worx tools.
