Review Time
I tried to order a toy from Wowcher and despite not getting a confirmation email they charged me £4.99 and £5.99. However, they want me to supply them with the order number which I cannot as I didn't have any email. I have tried to sort it out with customer services but they don't seem to be interested and tell me that I have to go back to my bank when its them that has taken my money. Will not be recommending them any time soon.
Wowcher messed up! It's really difficult to sort out any problems. I've been waiting since October for a response !! Refund on a voucher is supposedly no quibble! should have been a simple process. It's almost impossible to get anyone to help. I'm frustrated, disappointed and £175 out of pocket to date. Unacceptable to treat customers like that. After seeing Wowcher over the internet we gave them a try. we have found that it’s sold on their website as a golden egg but the actual items you get is an item from Temu low quality but they hide behind the fact they sold you a voucher and s75 can not be used and the 3rd party they will hid behind the fact it’s on the t&c hidden deep on small print.The mystery holidays for £99 is not £99 they advertise USA and everything yet the company is travelado looking only deal with Europe and as they have sold you a voucher your stuck in limbo. they call you up give you a hotel far away from anything and flights that are at crazy time but this is the way they get you £50pp for this £75 for that my advice is check your local travel agents for a last minute deal The items itself are from Temu the advent calendars are also very low quality and only you pay for delivery you get a cheap item also use by the company GAMECHANGER ASSOCIATES once I challenged this I was offered £5 the value of the Callander that cost me £20 so please avoid at all costsThis company is like a stranger selling you a laptop in a Tesco car park you then get home and find a Brick in the box My advice is go directly to a legitimate company and not use Temu as they just sell you a dream but deliver cheap item off Temu you can not send back Avoid at all costs
I paid for a Hammam experience for My partner and I at a local Hammam. It was a surprise as part of our 32 yrs anniversary.I tried to redeem it but had problems initially as there were no clear instructions as to how to do this. The amount paid was visible as a deduction in my bank account but the purchase did not appear in ‘My Wowcher account purchases.I rang the venue directly and was told that they redeemed the voucher but could not do so unless given a 12 digit ( 6 dash 6) code. There was no 12 digit code on the gift voucher I’d sent to my partner.I turned to Wowcher for help to resolve the problem. There is no direct access to customer Service ( if they have one). Contact was by WhatsApp. It’s been almost 4 wks since ny initial enquiry. I’ve received exactly the same txt from ‘Cher’, their VA; requests to send the same personal data I’ve asked to speak to ‘ a human’ with no response to date. I’m worried that I am going to lose my payment. It’s exasperating, time consuming, so unprofessional. The worst customer service ( or lack of) that I’ve experienced in over 40 odd years as a paying customer- anywhere!!!
I bought a refurbished watch on 24 Sep , seen it very damaged , screen cracked and of course I sent it back next day . Paid 99 pounds for watch and over 15 pounds deliveries including return . After chasing for over 3 weeks got only 89 pounds to use in next 3 months for buying more crap instead ….i lost 25 pounds for not checking T&C . Wowcher is less than TEMU …..
Update - refunded through klarna 17/11. Should not have been this hard. Won't ever use again. Bought a holiday, but Wowcher's partner Prime Holidays were unable to honour what was advertised (no choice of flights for the price I'd booked, no choice of airport for the price I'd booked but advertised there would be a choice) so I asked for a refund immediately. Neither Prime Holidays nor Wowcher are of any help, Wowcher are refusing to refund my money. They reply to reviews with a standard response saying I'll be contacted within a set time frame, and to contact them again if I don't hear back... So around we go again... and again. Absolute scam. Nearly £300 I'm having to fight for. DO NOT USE WOWCHER HOLIDAYS.
