Wowcher Should Stop Working with Travel Scammers

I purchased a holiday deal through Wowcher that was handled by their travel partner The Travel Makers. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely stressful.After paying the advertised price, I was later told the hotel was unavailable and pressured to pay an additional £298 via an unsecured payment link. Even after paying, I never received a booking confirmation or clear documentation of what I’ve paid for.I contacted Wowcher support for help — they opened a case but since then there’s been complete silence. I’ve since discovered that many other customers have reported similar issues with the same travel company on Trustpilot, yet Wowcher continues to list their deals.This has made me lose confidence in Wowcher’s vetting process and after-sales support. I feel scammed and just want a full refund of my payments.

They worst experience shopping and claiming the wocher on more than one occasion and the customer service is a discrace My query has been on going around 3 weeks via email and now WhatsApp and im still having a nightmare Its funny how I cant get a response via email and have to wait 24 hours for a WhatsApp but I get a reply with in the hour on here .........discusting

Please don’t order a bed. Review cloud 9 mattress before your order and look at Facebook reviews. Wowcher use this company even though all reviews are extremely negative. Ordered bed and mattress and it’s arrived extremely poor quality and not same mattress as advertise. Bed and mattress is not fit for purpose. You contact wowcher who tell you to contact cloud 9, cloud ignore emails but keep emailing you asking for further information even though you sent them this lots of times. You contact wowcher who tell you to wait 72 hours even though you explain all. Please wowcher and cloud 9 are scam company . Wowcher have replied saying sorry to hear this and please send us more information. I have been sending wowcher all the information on what’s app, Facebook messenger and through resolve. They don’t help, they either tell you to wait 72 hours then stop responding and ignore messages. I’m guessing they reply back with this message to look like they care. Please search wowcher scams on Facebook and join the pages. You will be shocked at how long this has been going on.

Wowcher/5pm.co.uk AVOID!!!

I purchased an afternoon tea for my great aunts 90th birthday gift from 5pm.co.uk (which I believe has been bought over by wowcher). On going to redeem the voucher (only 12 days after purchase) I was advised that the voucher had expired. There was no expiration date on the confirmation email and I’m not exactly sure why a voucher would expire 12 days after purchase??On speaking to wowcher, they were extremely unhelpful with very poor customer service and pretty much lack of response. They advised me that as per email my voucher had an expiry date which I explained to them with screenshots nowhere on my email had an expiration date. They simply replied they do not do refunds. In no way was I looking for a refund I was simply looking to claim my voucher which was paid for. Upon contacting the hotel, I have now found out that the afternoon tea costs £35 for 2 people. When booking the voucher from 5pm.co.uk it was advertised as usually costing £50 and I paid £32.99 for this. Clearly they are providing the wrong information to make customers think they are getting a better deal which they are not as although I paid £32.99 they were also wanting a £2.50pp payment if booking on a weekend. I will NEVER use this company again and advise others to stay well clear.

Wowcher selling fake products

Wowcher are happy to use pictures of a legit product, but allow sellers to send fake products. I ordered 2 Cosrx snail mucin products and received some kind of fake brand selling copies that look similar. I did not expect a company like Wowcher to allow scam products to be sold. Looking into this further this has been occurring for over a year at least and there appears to be no point in attempting to return or complain via wowcher and so I may be forced to attempt a chargeback via my bank. Multiple people stating online that they make it very difficult to actually get a refund. VERY DISSAPOINTED.Edit 10/11/25 - As reply mentioned, I did get an email asking for more info and I have sent wowcher further information and a full explanation of my concerns. It has since been almost a full week since I sent this and am yet to receive any response at all. Wowcher clearly don't care at all….I will be initiating a chargeback now.

Check supplier b4 buying!!

Very disappointed with experience of buying refurb laptop which had to be returned and U am niw fighting to get my money back. I have since searched the company behind the Wowcher offer and it is very clear that they are disreputable and that Wowcher are well aware of this. PLEASE REVIEW WHO IS BEHIND THE OFFER before buying any Wowcher! I will not be buying from them again. Just a portal for anyone to abuse!!

My case number is 1589764I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. The order process was completely mishandled—from taking the order to later requesting a separate delivery payment, which was never communicated upfront. The delivery service itself has been unacceptable.Despite multiple requests to cancel my order, the delivery was still carried out. I clearly stated that I no longer required the item and therefore refused to accept it upon arrival.I am requesting a full refund for both the delivery charge and the mattress payment, as my cancellation notice had already been communicated to all parties involved. It has now been a month since payment was made, and no one has responded or taken responsibility for resolving the issue.I previously contacted the following emails, but they are no longer responding:• Cloud 9 are the one stressing meThis level of service is unacceptable, and I expect prompt action to resolve this matter.

Paid for an item but never received the goods. Customer service terrible so I lose my money but will never use them again and will tell others not to.
