Complete waste of money!

First purchase of a wowcher the merchant was out of stock, then my voucher expired. Second voucher I received something that didn't work! But I thought I'd give it one last go. What a massive mistake. I ordered a mystery advent calendar. It says in the small print, if you aren't happy with what you won you could change it. I won a jewellery calendar and the three options to change it were all charm bracelet jewellery calendars. My daughter has already had a charm advent calendar, so I stuck with my original option. I received a charm bracelet calendar!!! Trying to send it back is like trying to get blood out of a stone. Complete waste of money. Will be avoiding Wowcher at all costs. Definitely would never recommend it!

Update terrible experience with wowcher

UpdatePreviously wrote a review about being disappointed that Wowcher are advertising breaks through PRIME HOLIDAYS who are using advertising tactics to scam people out of money. Wowcher replied to this review and asked me to contact them. Which I did…..they have then ignored me. I have logged a complaint with the advertising standards agency and logged it as fraud through my bank who agree that it is and have thankfully refunded my hard earned money. This is just not good enough and I will NEVER use Wowcher ever again and I’ll be sure to tell every single person I know to avoid also

Wouldn't even give them 1 stars

Wouldn't even give them 1 stars. Paid for a 2 night break in Europe for the christmas market. Terms and conditions states minimum of 40 hours in the destination. Travel agents offered me flights allowing for 30 hours if that. I was offered earlier flights if I paid more. Once I voiced about the 40 hours the holiday was then "unavailable". The travel agent then said id receive a refund as its unavailable and that this request would be sent to wowcher. After numerous emails and whats app to wowcher over 2 months I never received a reply. After getting klarna involved to Investgate wowcher gave me "a refund" in the form of store credit to spend with them. None existence customer service team. They break customer rights laws Make you pay for services they can't even offer then refuse to take accountability. I have escalated this to the Trading Standards

The Ashoka Indian Restaurant £50 spend…

The Ashoka Indian Restaurant £50 spend offer is a great value deal by Wowcher. The purchase and redemption processes are quick and user friendly. The Ashoka Bearsden experience is excellent because of the friendly staff, lovely surroundings and, of course, flavoursome and plentiful food.

Wowcher – Complicit in a Scam and Completely Useless When Things Go Wrong

I booked what was supposed to be a 3-day holiday to Krakow through Wowcher, thinking I was getting a great deal. Instead, I ended up tangled in a complete scam. Once I paid Wowcher, they handed me over to a company called Prime Holidays, who were responsible for the booking — and that’s where everything started to fall apart. The so-called “3-day holiday” was a sham: the flights were arranged so that the outbound flight left in the evening of day one, and the return flight was on the morning of day three, leaving me with barely one full day abroad. To make matters even worse, the departure and return airports were completely different, meaning I couldn’t even leave my car at the airport. But here’s where Wowcher’s part in this mess becomes even more disgraceful. When I tried to get help or speak to an actual person, I discovered that Wowcher doesn’t even have a proper customer service line. Instead, you’re forced to deal with an awful WhatsApp-style messaging system, which feels robotic, impersonal, and completely dismissive of real issues. There’s no accountability, no empathy, and certainly no sense of responsibility for the deals they sell.Despite contacting them just two days after booking and explaining that the holiday was misrepresented and unworkable, they refused to offer a refund or any meaningful assistance. It’s clear that Wowcher is fully complicit with these shady third-party travel companies — they take your money, pass you off, and then wash their hands of the whole situation when it goes wrong. What’s worse is how indifferent they are. There was zero care or regard for my situation, only canned responses and a complete lack of urgency. It’s disgraceful for a company of their size to hide behind automated systems instead of dealing with paying customers properly. In short: • Misleading travel deal promoted by Wowcher • No human customer support — just a broken WhatsApp-style chat • Refusal to refund even when contacted immediately • Complicit with unscrupulous travel companies like Prime Holidays • No sense of responsibility or care for customersAvoid Wowcher at all costs. Their business model is built on passing the buck and profiting from other people’s disappointment. Once they’ve taken your money, you’re on your own — and that’s not a deal, it’s a scam.

Don't use this site.

Don't use this site.. They offer you a good deal and then give you a code which you have to enter on a dodgy site and then if you get a certain deal some company's don't open on certain days so unable to use it

False advertisement

Ordered a bed from Wowcher and it turned out to be a scam. Wowcher also has false advertising showing 5 star trust pilot reviews for the bed shop Cloud 9 YN LTD cloud9mattress co ukThey have a 1 star review on here. I am not impressed and I am now taking legal action against Wowcher and Ehtesham Masood the owner of this fake bed supplier. Edit. Wowcher have replied to this comment saying they have been in touch. They have not done anything about this situation at all.
