Biggest scam of my life. Paid for a mystery holiday for 2 and ended up costing nearly £700. Firstly the company that actually does the mystery holidays is travelodeal. So when I arrived at my hotel in Poland it turns out travelodeal didn’t bother to pay for the hotel so it was cancelled 2 days before I arrived. Unfortunately for me no one bothered to tell me before I went. So stuck in Poland I had to pay £300 for another hotel. The best part is travelodeal and Wowcher have decided to ignore the fact that they scammed me so I won’t be getting any money for that. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone ever. Holiday from hell!!
We ordered an air fryer on the 13 sept 2025 and then paid and activated the deliverey voucher , it was advised that delivered of the item would be on the 17th sept, We arranged to pay in installments through Klarna, Delivery did not happen but the payments started!!!We reported the issue to both Klarna and Wowcher.We have a case number to prove this.November 6th 2025!! No delivery has happend!!We were told to contact the Merchant Named "Appliance Spares Wearhouse", we did so and the email bouced back !!! scammers !!We still have not recieved this order however Klarna are still taking payments on behalf of Wowcher and saying that because we activated the shipping voucher there seems to be nothing more they can do. DO NOT BUY FROM WOWCHER THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAT MIDDLE MEN FOR SCAM FAUDSTERS !!So they reply but how do I add more information I have even given you the reference number Reply from Wowcher3 days agoThank you for your feedback,I'm sorry to hear of your experience. Ordered a bed through Wowcher from a seller called Cloud9, and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. The wrong bed arrived, so I contacted Wowcher expecting them to sort it out. Instead, they told me to deal directly with the seller — who completely ignored me.When I went back to Wowcher, they were incredibly reluctant to help. First they tried to fob me off with Wowcher wallet credit (as if I’d ever use their site again!), and after endless back-and-forth, they finally issued a partial refund of £80 — nowhere near the full amount. By that point, I was just sick of the hassle and took it to get it over with.Terrible customer service, zero accountability, and a shocking lack of consumer protection.Do yourself a favour — do not buy from Wowcher or Cloud9. You’ll regret it.
Wowcher itself is very good when it comes to customer service and processed my refund very quickly. I am not giving it 5 stars due to the fact I had to get a refund in the first place. Beware some of the experiences on Wowcher are scams. Because Wowcher chooses to advertise these scams without investigating I can’t grant them 5 stars.
