scam!! So so upset. Bought a bed and it’s so cheap and looks completely different to picture and they have refused to help. The merchant never responds and when I paid my own courier to return it they rejected it for no reason.. so I’m down £500 for the cheapest bed! I contacted Wowcher and the merchant straight away after delivery ! Do not use this company, zero customer service, no one to contact and poor products! If you see an offer for a ‘DIOR ‘ bed from cloud9 DO NOT BUY!!!!
I ordered a watch through Wowcher and paid for Next Day Delivery, but the item never arrived. The initial customer service process was difficult, involving multiple unhelpful conversations and an unacceptable 15-day waiting period for the courier.Tallah ultimately stepped in and promised a dual resolution: a full refund AND the immediate reshipment of the watch.I received the refund 10 days ago, but the replacement watch promised by Tallah has still not been sent or received. The core issue remains unresolved despite the stated actions, and since then, all parties although i have this in written have tried to ignore the statement.
I recently made a purchase for a 12 month subscription of Spotify on Wowcher. I received the account details from the vendor and set up my playlists. One month later the account was no longer accessible. I contacted the vendor with no reply. After searching the web I found an active ‘strike off’ application on companies house for the business in question. I contacted Wowcher and they initiated a full refund. I have not yet received this but no reason to think not.A refreshingly positive customer service experience. Well done Wowcher.
I bought an item that I didn’t recieve, when I contacted wowcher I was told to contact the seller. I did this and in return they told me to contact the courier. The courier was very helpful they told me my parcel had gone to a place in Derby some 51 miles away from where I live. They told me to get back in touch with the seller and tell them its gone to the wrong address. I did this and the only reply I recieved was a notice of delivery even when I repeatedly told them it hadnt come to my address. I decided to take the matter up with paypal to see if they could sort it out. I was told to first discuss with wowcher. At last wowcher decides to look into it only to tell me that I had chosen click and collect. (I did not choose click and collect) and I certainly didnt choose to have my parcel sent 51 miles away to some distribution centre. I purchased the item on the 29th of September. I received no other contact regarding my purchase until I contacted wowcher in my account to find out where it was. Eventually I got an email on the 31st of October telling me my parcel is ready to be picked up in Derby. This has been going on far to long. I have bought many items in the past from wowcher if this is not sorted to a satisfactory conclusion it will be my last. ( UPDATE) You start off by charging me twice for the same item. I eventually get my money back for the duplicated charge and then you tell me I chose for the item to be sent 51 miles away for free. You can keep the product and the money it cost if your that desperate for £19.99 you have to cheat a pensioner out of it. I have closed my account I get better service from Amazon and Temu who don't charge for delivery or click and collect which I never use despite it being just around the corner.
Be very wary of this company especially when redeeming voucher. I filled in my address and expected my parcel to be delivered to me. Apparently they say I opted for click and collect a free service ( I did not) that delivers your parcel to some place in Derby which is 51 miles away from where I live. They say I knew this and agreed (I didn’t know this and I didn’t agree) They are not willing to budge on this they say I have to find my own courier to pick up the parcel and deliver it to me. I say keep the parcel keep my money I will never order from you again
I bought 2 vouchers for Lake Como for myself and my husband. The travel company, Travelodeal, rang me the next day to arrange flights and accommodation. However, the deal listed Birmingham airport as one of the airports to fly from, they said that wasn't an option. They offered other airports 100 of miles away for an extra £87 extra per person!! The date I had chosen, which was for our wedding anniversary, I was told was unavailable due to high demand, no other dates were any good to me as it was a special occasion. So, everything I had paid for was unavailable, they then said 'would I like to go somewhere else'? What a joke, I bought the vouchers because we wanted to go to Lake Como!! I've tried to contact Wowcher customer service for a refund, I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours, they didn't, I messaged them again and I am still waiting for a reply!!! Do not buy holiday deals from Wowcher, they're a rip off.
Avoid purchasing premium mystery box for £19.99. First time arrived in Jiffy bag stuck halfway through letterbox (as per photo received from Royal Mail) but was stolen. Complained as didn’t expect a Jiffy bag anyway. Then today actually received their replacement. A smaller Jiffy bag with one cutlery place setting! What a joke especially as, though I didn’t receive the original product, I did receive the ‘gift’ which was one cutlery place setting!!!! So now I have 2. One free & one £19.99!
Update: It has now been 3 more working days since Wowcher replied to this review, stating that I would receive a response from the merchant within that time. I have messaged and emailed them again and they're still ignoring me.We purchased a holiday through Wowcher on 24th September 2025 (Order Number: 50308137) for our holiday that was supposed to be in December, and it was auto redeemed. When it was auto redeemed, it did not allow me to fill in my personal information to be contacted. The booking went straight to the third party company, The Travel Makers, who we had to contact constantly to try and get any information. They reassured us that we had plenty of time, and we shouldn't worry to rush, yet after a month of numerous calls and being told to wait for our agent (Sonika) as she's very "busy". We then finally got into contact with the agent on WhatsApp, and she tried to upsell us on additional deals. Once we made it clear that we didn’t want to upgrade or pay more, the agent mysteriously stopped replying. It has now been two weeks since then, and a month and a half later, we still have no flight times, hotel names, or hotel dates. We called The Travel Makers multiple times (after being hung up on several occasions and receiving no replies to the emails I sent). When they finally answered, they told us that somehow our voucher had expired even though it had already been auto-redeemed, they told that we would need to contact Wowcher directly to get a refund. (We have this phone call recorded.)Their delay for the voucher to be "expired" was entirely due to their lack of response, not ours.We then tried contacting Wowcher’s WhatsApp customer support to request a refund, as the service we paid for has not been provided. However, they passed the case back to their third party, who (as already mentioned) told us to contact Wowcher. This has become a constant back and forth where neither side takes responsibility, so nothing gets resolved. Now, Wowcher’s WhatsApp support is no longer responding either. At this point, we are left with no choice but to take legal action and involve the ombudsman. We have proof of all contact and phone recordings. What they have done is borderline illegal and goes directly against the Consumer Rights Act under UK law, as the service we paid for has not been fulfilled.
Never again using this company. Bought a mattress voucher from an absolute shambles of a company Cloud9 back in September. Bunch of liars with products unfit for anyone. 1st one arrived damp, so was returned and replaced. 2nd one arrived, completely different to the pictures advertised on the website, also a fly inside the packaging for good measure. Wowcher have done nothing to help, everytime I contact them, I get told to contact the seller. Then the seller just makes a lie up or repeats the same answer as the last email. I think Wowcher enjoy just sitting back and watching me try to recoup anything from this purchase with the 3rd party seller. Contacted Wowcher a dozen times for help and get the same generic response from them each time to speak to the seller. Never again will I buy anything from these, deals look good on paper but once they've got your money they aren't interested. Terrible customer service and I'll be ensuring none of my friends or family use these. The dispute is still going on, mattress has been sat in my hallway for over a month. Don't waste your time or money. Luckily it was just £60 I'll never see again!! EDIT- Wowcher just because you said you've spoken to me does not mean this is resolved. Your ignoring my WhatsApps and I'm still out of pocket
