This used to be my favorite brand… what happened to this company?? In particular, what happened to the super skinny legging jeans… they were thin, lightweight, hugged your body in all the right places- they just melted onto you… then they went and changed the material to a thicker, coarser material that doesn’t stretch as well and doesn’t come close to hugging your body… they are tight in all the wrong places… just a huge disappointment.Just can’t figure out why so many companies have to go and change items that are so great. Why not keep staple items and materials available. I’d buy a 100 pairs of the old style if they were still available.
Terrible customer service. Received a pair of pants that stretched at least 2x size and on contacting customer service they referred me to their return policy (once one can’t return). So much for a $250 pair of sweatpants that fit like old navy.Initially left a positive review, then updated it based on fit, and the positive review remains. They did not post the updated review on the site.Unfortunate given I own several pairs. Will not be purchasing AG again.
Poor customer service. They do not honour sales for Canadian customers or any international buyers. Their customer service phone number does not work if you are calling outside of the USA. Therefore you cannot contact them in anyway, their email responses are BOT reply’s and they offer no meaningful assistance whatsoever. This company is an absolute disgrace.
I will never order from them again. Horrible customer return policy. Horrible customer service. It's a 14 day return policy from date of order not from date you receive the item. No one has this short of a return policy. Their sizing is not uniform. As much as i like their jeans there are other brands I can buy that do not have such horrible customer service and return policies.
I have had several pair of AG jeans and have liked them alot--good quality, good fit. I just received a pair on sale that I got online, Alexxis Slim, high rise. I held them up, turned them around and at the back of the knees, the jeans are heavily creased--I counted 10-11 creases on both knees. Such a far cry from the image projected from their glossy models wearing the jeans.I just now read other reviews (too many) about poor customer service on returns. My conclusion? Buyer beware. Your new jeans on sale may, in fact, be used.Another tip to AG Jeans: Your poor customer service will one day come back to bite you.
Great jeans but horrific customer service. Their return policy sucks. They don't have customer service. No one picks up the phone and you can't leave a message because the mailbox is always full. The way they name colors and models are extremely confusing. I ordered two pairs but they are not what I thought. The only way to buy an AG Jeans is to go physically to the store. As much as I hate Amazon, they still have the best customer service, unfortunately.
Do Not Order Online as you are not able to return for any reason. This is not made clear on their website and only when you find you need to return the item do you find out this is not possible. How is this legal. This is the problem with ordering fro the US and not a euro country who have much stricter consumer protection legislation. Unfortunately it appears no such thing in the US. This is appalling and shocking policy for a big brand like AG. In my view it amounts to miss selling. The retail sector may be struggling but this does not excuse this sort of behaviour. I am really angry as these jeans cost so much and when they don’t fit and you want to return them it’s literally burned money. I am writing this to help stop others falling in the same bear pitt.
I love their clothing, wonderfully made. But over the past three months they have had this horrendous "no return/no refund" policy. If you purchase something that does not fit or perhaps is not to your liking, you're pretty much stuck with it. Be very careful of the 'sale items' that are 'no refunds or exchanges'/Final Sale. For some odd reason (we think it's due to the current lack of business in retail) they are completely strict on this policy and will not budge. Earlier on we had a return where the 'tag fell off' (item was just tried on..it's not our fault the tag was placed on the item in a faulty manner) and mind you we spent over 2k over the past two years on this brand as dedicated patrons, we were alerted and told that we 'sent back a 'used' item that has been worn and since then was told that was the reason why they cannot make any exceptions with a recent purchase of something that does not fit. BE very careful of what you buy...in fact, buy it elsewhere where the return policies are more looser (i.e. nordstrom, bloomingdales etc) Customer service has also gone down hill with a tad rudeness factor to add insult to injury...No returns in an era where where consumers are forced to shop from home? seriously?....
I ordered 3 pair of jeans from AG online. Two pair came which I almost immediately returned. One pair never came. When called, AG customer service stated that the jeans were out of stock and I was not charged. Wrong: a paypal and "posted not pending" Amex charge for 3 pair of jeans disproved that statement. Then they did not communicate with me about or issue a refund for the two pair of returned jeans. Customer service was very snippy and kept telling me that I was not charged for the missing pair. I have provided the invoice and UPS return confirmation to Amex who will dispute the $622.37 charge for all 3 pair of jeans with AG. This is the worst customer service of any online store that I have ever purchased from. Generally online merchants are friendly and efficient. AG is not. Avoid buying from them.
