I have given 5 stars to WURA, a lovely, person who works at the Aldi Local Fulham Broadway, SW6. She has such a mild spirit, accompanied by excellent customer service skills. I really cannot say the same for her other colleagues, who are so very, very rude!. Always poor service!!! Perhaps Wura can help them out when is comes to customer service skills, as they dont have any!!!...
Drove a long way to the Andover store (Thursday)for wine of the week,only to be told return later we have not had it delivered..I returned later that evening only to be told come back tomorrow..I returned the next day (Friday) only to be told come back Monday …DON’T ADVERTISE something you clearly don’t have..it’s misleading and is FALSE ADVERTISING you should only advertise something you can deliver on…If I went into McDonald’s for a burger I’m sure I would get one ,I wouldn’t be told to return on a Monday.
I buy virtually exclusively Specially Selected range from Aldi and honestly, it's better than M and S. I've compartment of the dishes and all from Aldi have been better quality, better taste and by far, better value. Quite amazing actually
The pan fried potato's were supposed to have ham in it but there wasn't a single piece of ham just a packet of sliced potatoes & we bought 5 boxes. We found this appalling, disappointing & misleading to find just boxes of sliced potatoes that we paid for.The pictures on the boxes clearly shows misleading pieces of meat on every slice of potato.Avoid this product.
Aldi have lost the plot I can no longer purchase my dogs favorite chews that can 10 in a roll nor can I buy lemon cider both products are available from my local Morrison’s and the Lidl not to far away but not Aldi and what about Cadbury chocolate bars in a 7 pack
I bought a cordless branch cutter in February. It is not sold complete with battery and charger . It was another month before the battery came in stock . I was not allowed to return to goods as I had outchsed on Apple Pay but needed a physical card to get a refund which I didn’t have. I emailed customer support asking about chargers - no response . I went into the shop daily and was told they are never aware what will be coming in and to try every store. One person told me they don’t sell the charger, another that they do. Eventually I was given a customer service number which rang out . 8 months later I have gone online to buy one . As it’s a lithium battery this is something I didn’t want to do for fear of getting fraudulent copies. To sell items that can’t be used is utterly stupid . I urge people not to buy items without chargers . This also increased the price massively tool £30 battery £15 charger £30. I could have bought the same item in BnQ for £45 with charger . Beware of this purchasing scam with no recourse.
My local Aldi store has recently had a makeover and have installed doors on all the refrigerated sections. These doors make it awkward for more than one person to access the products behind them. I can see these causing mayhem when it comes to holidays, especially Christmas. My other problem is the fact that they've started vacuum packing the minced meat. When trying to cook the meat off, it stays in clumps and refuses to break up. I've resorted to having to put it back through a mincer in order to make it more palatable in the mouth. Please go back to the old trays.
I go to the brierley hill branch which is ruined by what can only be described as strange behaving people talking subliminally during your shopping trip and standing right on top of you so you have to hear the indirect insults. The latest was “it’s a joke, it’s a joke” timed to perfection as you are writhin hearing distance relating to the latest topic of concern from the obsessive watching and following prior. I just think it’s not aldi’s fault the rubbish that people are, but you don’t go to a supermarket to feel like that. Just do your job and leave innocent members alone.
Purchased 2 stollen cakes. 1 had marzipan in about 70% of the cake the other even lower at 60%. This on top on a price hike. I'm buying fewer items from Aldi these days, as the quality is getting worse. It’s a shame as Aldi used to be great value for money.
