Rude shop assistants and abusive security.

Aldi Camden is my local shop. I never had any problem before. I use to do my shopping partly in the local M&S and in Aldi. Two days ago, after I paid for all Aldi items, the new security person grabbed my M&S bag without warning me, looked inside, then dropped it on the floor. When I complained that he should have asked my permission, he laughed at me in a rude bullish way. Today I did part of my shopping in M&S, then I went to Aldi to finish the shopping. It took me about half an hour hour to put my shopping together. I left my trolley unattended for less than two minutes right before paying. When I came back I found my trolley emptied. Apparently the security asked a shop assistant to empty my trolley. Without my permission they removed all my Aldi shopping and went through my M&S shopping mixing it up in a bad way. When I complained and I asked to have my Aldi items back, the security, along with two shop assistants, surrounded me laughing at me in a bullish way. They refused to give me back my shopping. The security refused to identify himself, hiding his ID tag. They escorted a regular customer that was trying to pay out of the store, not allowing me to pay. I have been a regular customer of my local Aldi for years, and I never went through such a bad experience. I feel I have been bullied and harassed. I cannot understand why Aldi workers should send away regular paying customers just to satisfy their will to bully them. All I know about the bullies is that the security tag ends with 9560 7125 2043. He managed to hide the rest of his tag. The shop deputy manager, Amandeep, somehow excused himself at the end. I bet that is the best they can do after approaching their customers with such bad manners.

Good shopping experience

Quite impressed with the store in Chester le Street, Co Durham. Always plenty of choice, prices are good, plenty of parking and now they have self service checkouts it has become my regular shop to buy groceries as most wont use these as its mainly old people who shop here.

Not good value for money, out of date food

Bought a treat today, their milk chocolate viennese biscuits. Only 5 in a packet for 1.99, disgraceful value, although quality good. Out of date salad , (2 days), not good, but great if you want food poisoning! Coleshill branch.

Dangerous products

I bought a desert today and the packaging was fine on the outside. When I put my hand in I felt something Sharpe and cut my hand and looked to discover the glass casing was broken into tiny shreds of glass. Having a disability I was unable to just take it back to store. So I had taken photos I went on the online chat to a guy called William. Explained the situation and he said I could return it withing 60 days. I told him it wasn't that simple as being disabled and I wasn't going to keep a damaged dairy product until till I could get to the store again. He then asked me for the bar code and then ended the chat. I reopened to get him again and each time he was ending the chat. I did originally want to just pre warn the staff of my misfortune incase there was others on the shelve also damaged. But now I'm absolutely fuming the more I think about it.

Kettering retail park

Kettering retail park. Won’t be going back. Rotten potatoes, mouldy green beans, soggy tomatoes, staff playing dodgems with the customers with gurneys, aisle blocked with empty boxes,:dirty baskets and floors… gone downhill very fast, the quality gone down even faster and prices up at lightening speed. Tesco sorry I left you, but I’m back👍

Cheapening everthing

It's getting worse by the months at Aldi. Used to love Aldi, but recently it's just getting too expensive. I buy the small jars of honey , use it for tea and coffee, it's just gone up front 85p to 99p and the jar is now plastic instead of glass. It was leaking in the shopping bag. I'm slowly going back to the likes of Asda and Sainsbury's. Aldi just doesn't save you much, like it used to do.
