SCAMMERS DO NOT BUY ANY INSURANCE OFF THIS SCAM COMPANY AT ALL ITS ALL LIES THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WHEN IT COMES TO CLAIMING FOR WHAT IS COVERED THEY DECLINE YHEY NEED CLOSING DOWN AND IM REPORTING THEM TO EVERY PERSON RELEVANT!!! I will not have this!!!
Our new motorhome broke down in France, so we contacted Allianz Assistance for recovery, then our problems really began!Firstly UK mobiles are unable to contact Allianz while in France, we tried EE and Vodafone, neither worked. Fortunately our vehicle dealer was able to contact them on our behalf.Eventually logging our breakdown with Allianz, their representative even confirmed our location - Despite 2 hours passing, no recovery arrived. Upon contacting Allianz they said nobody was coming to recover our vehicle and we should contact the French Motorway network on 112 - Why didn't Allianz inform us of this at the time the call was logged. Making matters worse we had our two young children with us. Leaving a family stranded on the motorway network in this manner is completely unacceptable. We disputed their response immediately and have been trying to illicit a reply every since, despite sending 7 emails and an equivalent number of phone calls to their customer services team on 020 8603 9853. Allianz\Fiat were incapable of booking our broken down vehicle into a local Fiat Professional dealership, we were left stranded for a week - Myself and my wife being forced to contact Allianz multiple times a day to find out what was going on! Allianz failed to contact us despite assurances they would, leading to further stress and anxiety. Inability to recover our vehicle into Secure Storage as the local French dealer network didn't have capacity to repair the vehicle. When secure storage recovery was organised the recovery company failed to arrive despite confirming (multiple times) with Allianz that they were en-route. Believing vehicle recovery into storage was in hand, we arranged our own travel home due to the continued incompetence at Allianz. As the recovery company failed to arrive Allianz suggested we leave the vehicle's keys with the campsite owner so we would be able to make our on-ward travel home - With the high value of our vehicle this was never an option! The recovery company insisted we travel with the vehicle to 'secure Storage' this was never explained by Allianz - The storage facility was further away, therefore the ability to travel on-ward and home was further restricted. The recovery company left our Motorhome on the pavement outside of their garage, this wasn't the 'secure storage' which had been arranged. Many phone calls were made to Allianz, with one exception, none were returned despite promises to do so. After a few hours our vehicle was placed into 'secure storage'. By this time we had missed our train to the airport and were stranded in a small French village, with no on-ward travel, accommodation and two young children who's safety was paramount! Upon arrival home we continually chased Allianz for updates on our Motorhome, we also needed to chase Allianz to recover our costs - Some of which they later refused to pay despite verbal assurances that certain costs would be covered - These were later recovered as part of my formal complaint. Once we we're informed our vehicle had been repaired we were asked to provide our availability and nearest airports so we could arrange collection - This information was provided on the same day, along with flight numbers etc. Then nothing, again we were forced to chase this with Allianz on more than one occasion to organise travel and vehicle recovery. All of the above was submitted to Allianz as a formal complaint on 16th August 2024 and remains unresolved despite attempts from myself and my wife to illicit a response.I would not recommend Allianz Assistance as they are completely incompetent in every respect. Should you have the misfortune to have Allianz Assistance then ‘Good luck’!
Horrible experience! I have been waiting for the reply of my claim for over a year now! Used their travel insurance in a trip when Allianz was still the provider of Revolut card and even though they said that wouldn't be a problem, I haven't had any answer about my claim yet!This is a SHAME.
Terrible customer service. It is clearly routed to an Indian call centre. Background noise on their end made it so hard to hear. I wanted to inform them of a medical condition that had come up since my purchase but couldn't fathom if they had taken note or not as they didn't ask for any details. I will not purchase this insurance again as it seems a bit suspect.
Shocking event insurance. I purchased this for an event that was cancelled and wanted a refund and to cancel insurance I was given less than a third of what I paid and basically told because I was refunded they would only refund premium. It took so long to get a response that I dread to think of I were to make a claim. I will never use this company again. Awful slow service that even the most patient person could not tolerate.
My mother was unfortunately unwell and we were unable to make a concert. I contacted Allianz due to having ticket insurance and filed a claim with all documentation required. My claim was accepted and a payment confirmation for a full refund was sent... Sounds great right? WRONG. Payment confirmation states 5-10 working days and here I am 3 weeks later still chasing my refund.After today that will be 5 emails, 4 calls speaking to 9 different customer service representatives, being passed pillar to post as well as one of them saying "Well call back again next week" and hanging up the phone. Also the constant sentence of "you were refunded the amount 25.06.24 and it has settled", clearly it has NOT as I would not be wasting my time contacting your useless customer service team. This was an amount of almost £200 and it seems Allianz think passing you around will make you leave it alone and let them get away with stealing your money.After no resolvement from Allianz I have now had to open a claim case with the Financial Ombudsman. Do NOT use Allianz for any ticket insurance, they will scam you.
Actually zero rating this. I bought tickets via Ticketmaster in March 24 for an event in July 24 and added missed event insurance. My husband and I were both unwell and couldn't attend. I was reminded on holiday that actually we had insurance. I have just tried to claim - my insurance was only valid until 13.6.24 - so how can that be missed event insurance when the event wasn'tuntil July?? The event was after the rubbish policy expired. Ticketmaster need to be more transparent - what a scam. Just tried to ring Allianz - apparently he couldn't hear me properly on the phone. Rubbish - avoid at all costs!!
I bought a travel insurance from them. My flight got cancelled and I request a claim later on. But they rejected my claim even though flight cancellation is covered in the insurance. Do not buy any insurance from this company because your claim will not be successful most likely
Terrible company. Have been paying for travel insurance through Allianz for years yet, the moment I get a health issue all cover is withdrawn. I found cheaper better cover elsewhere with the post office. So I suggest you don't use Allianz as they are total pants.
