Absolutely superb company,I have been with them 36 years...never a problem paying out even large hospital bills .Superb customer help. Very understanding in all health matters. Payment rapid rather than fast. I can not understand some of the reviews I have read.
DO NOT TRUST ALLIANZ CARE. This company is a scam. I was deceived by my insurance agent and when I tried to terminate my contract, they ignored my request and continued to charge me. I sent multiple emails and received no response. After discovering that many other customers have had similar experiences and left negative reviews, I realized that this company cannot be trusted.If I had seen these negative reviews before, I would never have signed up for this insurance. Allianz Care is not a reliable or trustworthy company. Stay away from them
I Would give 0 Stars if possible... They always request new documents for claims, although everything is submitted to them. The Support never really answers, it takes weeks to get an answer. Telephone Support is useless aswell, as they always want to forward and then no one is reachable. Its a scam really. Worst experience I have ever haved with an insurance! If you want to spend your time with emails and phone calls to the insurance, then sign up with them.
Received this health insurance from my organization (it is mandatory in my country), but basically everything that is included in the core plan is already covered by the national health system, and the few things that could be useful have a deductible higher than any possible fee that I could pay for those things. Basically my employer is paying for health insurance but I don't have any health insurance. I will pressure them to change plan.
I purchased OSHC on the 19th January, Allianz took responsibility for putting it as OVHC and claimed to have sorted it out. It is now 14 Feb and I still do not have my policy certificate in order to submit my student visa. When I ask to speak to someone in a higher department to escalate my matter there is always excuses "they're away or in a meeting" I have been calling them for weeks, last week I was told that everything was sorted and I would be receiving my policy certificate on the 10 Feb which did not happen, when I call back they always say that they will get someone to phone me back within the day which does not happenThis is absolutely ridiculous and I will NEVER recommend anyone to use this health insurance. Their customer service is horrific!!!
DO NOT SIGN WITH ALLIANZ DENTAL INSURANCE.All is ok until the customer has to sign and pays regularly every month.The moment you claim something they go and spy into your whole life, back years and years, up to 7 years back in my case, to find something they can use to say they are not entitled to pay for your treatment.Disappointing behaviour and totally uncooperating personnel.
This company used to be great. Now is full of inconsistencies. For example the same basic dermatological doctor visit and treatment was approved and paid at least 5x in 2022 now it is not good anymore. They want medical reports signed by the treating doctor detailing the following: detailed description of the symptoms, ICD code, explanation of the medical necessity for the treatment or procedure, details of medical treatment carried out, invoice with a stamp (receipt and bank stub not good anymore). We have a full comprehensive health insurance where the Table of Benefits states Doctor Visits full refund. period. They do anything to slow you down, lose your time, and drive your physicians nuts. The second example is my long term drug prescription. Two years ago they decide that is an OTC and not cover it while in the country I'm based the pharmacist are still asking for a prescription. Last December I claimed the medication, attached the doctors prescription and surprise surprise Allianz approved and paid it. I asked for explanations and their answer was that the Bots make a mistake however they don't need my money back. So unprofessional. Covid Tests and getting sick. OMG. My daughter had an emergency while in Egypt and their so called 24/7 emergency line done nothing but NOTHING and ended up, yet again, going for weeks of back and forth of ridiculous explanations although the Egyptians physicians and clinic provided us with all the treatment info needed. What Treatment Guarantee Form. They told me to pay and claim it afterwards only to come back and asked why I did not fill the Treatment Guarantee Form prior to my child's emergency while abroad. Also 2 years ago I have reviewed and given them 1☆ and they promise by email that they will call to listen my grievances. It has never happened plus they convinced Trust Pilot that the problem was solved and erased my review. At that time they had a 4.6 ☆ rating. Today is a different story. They don't deserve your money. Since our insurance is corporate we will lobby to finish the collaboration. It's been 12 years now and it is time for change.
This company is an absolute scam and fraud. Their “emergency hotline” is always busy, they claim, probably because they don’t hire sufficient qualified staff to service their customers. I have been hospitalised twice this month and both times I had to call and submit my own claim in order to obtain their payment guarantee, while at the ER in a critical medical condition, because Allianz did not accept my medical provider to do so on my behalf. It’s has been an extremely frustrating process because they act so slow and I had to pay my medical provider a deposit myself, as Allianz failed to do so within an acceptable time frame. It’s clear they do so intentionally, in order to decline proper cover and consequently only accept a fraction of the costs once their customer claims the cost. I have send dozens of complaints with their management in cc, however, they clearly don’t care. I’m going back to Cigna or Bupa. Stay away!
