Review Time
I merely wanted an update for my family's OVHC policy involving removing of persons in the policy, and extending the policy date for the remaining person in the policy.Emails went back and forth for probably already 6 or 8 times, and each time the email comes back, it is coming from a different person, with incorrect information about my policy! I don't think they read the email trail thoroughly. I cannot believe how they could have misunderstood simple instructions on the change of policy! It seems Customer Service is deliberately just going back and forth with emails, perhaps, to generate KPI's based on responses on the ticket, it doesn't matter that it is becoming very poor quality of service.
worst medical insurance that I have experience in my life... if you want to get a refund, you need to hire a lawyer.... almost... they keep refusing every claim unless you start to fight.... they even refused a vaccination.... even though it was included in my plan. they will do everything not to pay your claimsSTAY AWAY
I paid a lot of money to this company over the years for my health insurance. Eventually, I had a doctor's appointment and had to make a claim. The submission seemed straightforward enough; I just filled a form on the app with my bill information. However, a long silence ensued, only broken by a letter from my doctor reminding me to pay the bill. I checked the allianz app, to find that they had silently closed the claim, since they did not get any feedback from the healthcare provider! Why did I not receive any notification of this? The same thing happened to my partner at a similar time. I ended up paying the bill myself and cutting ties with this thieving company.
When we first started with Allianz Care, we submitted paid dental claims and they were refunded swiftly. When I had to go to hospital for an unexpected procedure, it was a battle to contact anyone and to get the hospital and doctors paid. A formal complaint to Allianz received an acknowledgement that they were in the wrong, but so what? Services haven't improved. Communication is really bad to non-existent, except when Allianz wants to lure you in to take out a premium. I submitted dental claims in early June 2022. It is over a month and things are still 'IN PROGRESS'. Their so-called chat box never has anyone available. The great Allianz void that takes your premiums and then waits for you to stress, be hounded by service providers, feel embarrassed and frustrated and have to battle it out to get payments.
Virtually no customer service! They recycle correspondence as a reply to our questioning previous correspondence. Assigned representative will return 1 out of 15 phone calls and that's being generous. We're about to file a law suit against them for breach of contract and they don't seem to give a rats A**! Highly recommend one looks elsewhere for anything this company offers!!!
