Driver screamed at me, in Spanish, for an extended period of time as I did not remove the front wheel of my bike in advance of the bus arriving. At the bus station in Merida there is no way of knowing where the Alsa bus to your destination will arrive. You therefore need to be able to move your bike quickly from one end of the terminal to the other quickly. English is my first language but I speak Spanish. He was rude, aggressive, intimidating and abusive !
Took the Alsa bus from Perpignan to Barcelona airport. The bus arrived 158n late and departed 30 min late. There was no explanation and the drivers seemed disinterested. No attempt was made to make up for lost time. In addition the space between seats is very small.I would have little faith in this company making attempts to improve punctuality or customer service. In the event you have to use them then please factor in extra time for delays or cancellations.
I had a trip from Tarragona to Barcelona, so I bought a ticket in ticket machine on auto station. The information in ticket provides me a number of bus and name of the route. To start with this bus was late, something like 10 min, which is not good but I was alright with it. But in the end driver told us that this is the wrong bus, which in fact I believe was lie, as far as information in ticket and information on bus was similar. But in the end he just left us and said to wait for another bus. Fortunately, another bus came but the story repeated again, and driver didn’t want to take us. So I needed to be a little crazy and noisy to get in.The conclusion is, if you have options try to avoid ALSA services because looks like this organization doesn’t care about their customers al all.
The reason why ppl could consider not living in Madrid. Unfortunately this terrible company makes up an important part if the transport in Madrid. But there's simply no system at all and no schedule that is followers. The Busses come or not, it's like a gamble and makes everyday life without a car complicated. The reason why you will not want to use public transport and Unfortunately will have to think of buying a car if you are living in madrid and surrounding and depend on this terrible company.
Today we wanted to go from Benidorm to Alicante airport, but it turned out that you can't just buy a ticket on the spot, you need to book in advance! There is no information about this anywhere. However, last week we went from the airport to Benidorm and bought tickets on the spot. We had to go by taxi, otherwise we would have been late to the airport. We were very unhappy!Hoy queríamos ir de Benidorm al aeropuerto de Alicante, pero resultó que no se puede comprar el billete allí mismo, sino que hay que reservarlo con antelación. No hay información al respecto en ningún sitio. Sin embargo, la semana pasada fuimos del aeropuerto a Benidorm y compramos los billetes allí mismo. Tuvimos que ir en taxi, de lo contrario habríamos llegado tarde al aeropuerto. ¡Nos sentimos muy mal!
If you really wanna destroy it your vacation , then take those buses 🚌! The sad thing is you working all year and can’t wait for the vacation time, some psycho driver destroyed all in few minutes! Do they test them when they hired?or just put anyone to fill up the spot! I took those horrible bus from Madrid to Alicante! From the last minute the change the gates and no one gives a dam to change it on the screen , and when you arrive when the ticket tells you , the ignorant driver just a set you in rude way is not your bus , and when you asking where is my bus he just telling you move and go find it by yourself! 😡😡😡! By running and stressing the last minute we finally funded ours! Another ignorant driver after 2 hours driving ,stopped and told us 15 mins brake ! So what! After 4 minutes exactly he went to the bus leaving behind 9 people including us! Running to the information old ignorant men was telling us if we speak Spanish he will help us otherwise no!!! I won’t txt all the nightmare but just to tell your Spanish people ! If you’re continuing doing that to the tourist in few years all of you that leaving with our money , gonna look for job in Africa because even your farms won’t be able to accommodate all of you! Shame on you that destroyed our vacation !
