we bought tickets from Madrid to Barcelona. Firstly it was delayed for an hour. Then the information is disappeared and the bus did not come. it was midnight we didn't know what to do. The person at the bus station who worked at Alsa started to scream that it is our fault. Don't trust Alsa if you want to have a good vacation.
ALSA is completely unreliable and unreasonable as a major company. The bus drivers regularly leave before the scheduled departure time and when you miss your bus as a result, they refuse to refund the cost of your ticket. This has happened to me 3 times and I REFUSE to use their service ever again.
This company is a thief! They sold me a ticket to a bus service that did not exist. I waited hours at a bus terminal for a bus that never arrived. I consulted with the staff at the terminal who said there is only one service in the direction I was going per day and the operator had no agreement with Alsa.DONT USE ALSA
Good experience in Andalusia (trips Malaga-Granada-Almeria-Malaga). - Bus came always on time from the first stop, the journey took the expected time with minimum time difference. - The stations are well organized, it is easy to find the place where the bus waits. - Drivers are nice.- The application for ordering and paying works absolutely fine on iphone and it is possible to save ticket in the Wallet- The cost is reasonable - wifi usually works- The only thing I didn’t like is the cleanliness (especially the coasters on the seat in front of you and toilets are catastrophic(full from the first stop, dirty)!), which is a paradox, because you hear literally 100 times to wear mask, not eat and clean hands etc or you will be kicked out
My husband and I used Alsa to travel from Bilbao to Zaragoza in July, 2021 and then from Valencia to Alicante in August, 2021. I must recommend this service to all. Inexpensive means of travel. The company aims to be on schedule and were. The driver was serious and focused. The bus was clean and quiet, with toilet and toilet papper. There is plenty of leg room. And storage for luggage under bus and overhead on the bus. Could not find USB for charging the phones but that was ok. We enjoyed the ride. ;) Masks must be worn through journeys re covoid. The tickets from Bilbao to Zaragoza costed 20.54 euros each, one way. Thank you for your service. Great job you all do! We will be recommending you to others and using your services again. :)
The bus schedule for Benidorm makes no sense. 2hs apart one from another at high season to get to and from the airport, the last one being at 17hs when there are flights way past that time. Additionally, we made a reservation for 14hs on the 16th of August, the bus arrived 45 minutes later. It was not disenfected, it was dirty and no type of notification was sent to customers. It is utterly disrespectful to the customers who now face the risk of missing their flight. Shame on this company
I used Alsa for my stay in Spain, I took the bus from Malaga airport to Granada and then from Granada back to Malaga airport. The ride was nothing but comfortable, the driver scans your QR code, you put your bags into the bus and that’s it - you get on and sit down, no hassle whatsoever. There are a lot of bad reviews here and there and I believe it may be because of the ‘lack of communication’, as I think people often forget that nobody is obligated to speak your language. The drivers are living in Spain, they will be speaking Spanish, they don’t have to speak English etc.I can promise you (from my experience) - this company IS reliable, the seats are comfortable, and the buses are clean. One thing I will note is that the seat numbering is quite confusing, it spiked my anxiety a little as someone did sit in what was meant to be my seat - All I would say is maybe make the seat numbers more obvious in the future! But no biggy, I arrived in one piece! I wanted to write this review because before I left for my trip I had seen all the bad reviews and honestly I became so nervous! But I just want to say: don’t listen to all the bad reviews and enjoy your trip!
