My €1200 parcel travelled across the eu in the space of 2-3 days, only to arrive in ireland and has now been getting sorted for delivery for days, no update on the tracking and I had to contact customer care only to find out it has been delayed with no reason why, no expected delivery date. After reading multiple reviews I'm really scared they will either lose it or return it to the sender.
I am having terrible trouble with new E-Commerce Portal. I have tried to get in contact with an account manager but no one ever replies. The portal is the most complicated I have ever come across and it does not work properly. Could someone contact me ASAP?
Posted a letter in Kenmare to Cork City, it took TWO weeks to arrive. Parcel post is gone to hell completely, it could be anywhere up to a week for parcels to arrive. As for Express Post, please don't waste your money, it doesn't exist in An Post, it's an aspiration not a reality. I agree with all other reviews regarding their customer service, difficult to contact them & turns out to be a futile exercise, they provide no information or apologyAnd my name is Norma not Nora
Absolutely terrible service.I stay at home all day waiting for my parcels, and every time I receive an email saying “delivery attempted” even though nobody came to my door. There’s never any delivery notice or slip left in the post box.Parcels that should arrive within 3 days often take much longer. According to the tracking, they’re “out for delivery,” but they never actually arrive — or stay stuck in the system for days.Even my important letters, including hospital appointment notices, were delivered a month late! This is completely unacceptable.An Post’s delivery service is unreliable, careless, and absolutely not professional. It feels like a joke at this point.
Hi everyone,I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the repeated poor service I’ve received from An Post. Unfortunately, this is now the second time I’ve had major delivery issues with them.The first incident involved a parcel from Rituals, which was returned to the sender without any delivery attempt and without leaving a notice. I live alone in a newly built apartment complex (€2,500/month) that includes full concierge and postal services, meaning there is always staff available to receive parcels. Despite this, no delivery attempt was made, and I only discovered the parcel had been returned when I contacted the retailer myself.The second issue concerns an Amazon order, which has been stuck at An Post’s central depot for almost two weeks. Again, there’s been no delivery attempt and no communication.When I reached out to customer support, I received a generic, unhelpful response claiming “address mismatch” or “delivery could not be completed.” This is completely unacceptable — my address is correct, my name is registered, and my building has a professional reception team and secure parcel lockers. There is simply no valid reason for these repeated failures.At this point, it’s clear that delivery staff are not making proper delivery attempts, and customer support is doing nothing to resolve the issue.I strongly urge An Post to review their delivery procedures and ensure that customers ...especially those living in buildings with full reception services ...are not continuously let down in this way.Extremely disappointed and hoping for accountability and improvement.
