I paid €67 in total for my order from Belarus (shipping included), but An Post added another €60 postage and charged €33.55 VAT.I provided proof of the actual payment, yet it was ignored.My parcel has been stuck at An Post for over a month, and I still haven’t received it.This experience shows both poor handling of VAT disputes and very slow processing times.I hope An Post improves transparency and customer service for international deliveries.Tracking number: RR995985404BY
Terrible service that seems to be getting worse by the month.I live in east Cork,if i post a letter to my neighbour (50 metres away) it has to go up to Portlaoise and back down ! And it can take up to 5 working to arrive ! What Genuis came up with this ? They had a sorting hub in Cork but closed it down.This past week we had no service for 2 of the 5 days and the reason they gave was staff issues.Get your act in order like every private business has to !
So I am in Australia trying to find my irish passport no updates tracking not moving dealt with Pamela on the live chat she is the most rude usless incompetent person that ever existed she kept disconnecting the chat horrible woman thought Australia post was bad this service makes them look like saints RY242089518lE is the tracking number I have also spoken to customer service and I think Steve explained how things work ... just this Pamela woman terrible I was trying to establish what was going on and kept getting disconnected they dont allow emails i have sent a msg via instgram also i spoken to the irish embassy in Canberra so hopefully its all okay
There said there delivered a package on Saturday which there didn't and try and to phone is nightmare no luck after a long. Time got wedchat there said there look into it and waiting till post this morning and still no package and again try to phone waste of time and again after long time got wedchat and guess what there look into it nightmare
Package posted early Jan 2025 registered post within Dublin of 110 euro value. Never reached destination. Created many support requests and finally in October 2025 they sent me 9.50 euro refund citing liquids are not insured as part of an post registered post. If the liquids had been damaged i would have understood but they lost the package completely. 10 months late response and unsatisfactory, no point using their registered post.
