Do not use their service the worse…

Do not use their service the worse service I have ever come across, better use private company such as DPD, An post are useless even the fast tracking delivery they can not deliver they hold my documents because their automated system rejected the delivery now over a week I am chasing them they do not even know where is my items, they have not even return the item to sender or deliver to receiver over a week now, every time I call their answer is we are locating it one week now they are saying same thing what a disgrace, and disaster.

I have never been so disappointed and…

I have never been so disappointed and stressed in my life because of a service. My important travel documents were sent from the UK – I had flights booked, plans in place, and in just two days I am supposed to be flying out for my own wedding. Instead, my package has been rejected due to a declaration issue and rather than simply returning it, **An Post is holding it hostage with no clear process or timeline.**For the past 5 days, I’ve called repeatedly, and every time I get the same empty, scripted response: *“someone will have to manually find the item, then it will either be cleared or returned, but we have no ETA.”* No empathy, no accountability, no urgency. How can a company dealing with people’s critical documents operate with so little care for the consequences?Because of this complete lack of communication and action, I am now facing the real possibility of missing my own wedding. The financial and emotional toll is immense – not just on me, but on both families. This isn’t just “an item delayed.” This is life-changing, and yet it feels like An Post couldn’t care less.If you ever need to send or receive something important, avoid this service at all costs. The stress, the lack of updates, and the total disregard for the human impact is unforgivable.

What is going on with An post?

What is going on with A post?Online customer service via WhatsApp trying to use authoritative language kept repeating my name. Could almost HEAR them huff. Over the phone got the same man twice, older man. Extremely rude, I started my first sentence and he interrupted me with an answer he presumed I needed - incorrect. The information he gave was alll wrong. An post corrected him, and I got sorted else where

Waited 16 minutes.....hungup

Just contacted customer service, had to hang up after waiting 16 minutes to enquire about a parcel that's missing for the last 9 working days. Terrible service.

Anpost makes it so easy to return online shopping. I really appreciate that I can choose the day for my return collection. The notification for expected parcels is also very useful. A great service if you love online shoping like I do :-)

Slow to sort orders for Ireland

Recently they have started to work irresponsibly. Long waiting time for delivery. Orders arrive in the country at the customs point in 3-5 days. After the customs check in Ireland is released, the order is almost 2-3 weeks on the way to Dublin and handed over to the courier. This is simply absurd.
