DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! There is NO reasonable return, so you are stuck with the item, even if the product is not acceptable to you. HORRIBLE!! Wish I could give 0 stars. Wish I would have read the other reviews before buying!! My mistake.
Ordering from Ash Newyork was a terribly disappointing experience. The dress I purchased arrived 8 days later than the proposed delivery date. It had a stain on it. And - when I went to proceed with the free return process, I was told "Exchanges and or returns are of course no problem, this can always be done within 30 days of receiving your item(s). As indicated on our website, we do not offer a free return service, we also do not have a department store in USA, we only work with our department store in China. We value our eco process, as indicated on our website, that is why we have chosen 1 central department store near our fabric. Enclosed is the return form, as we only have one warehouse in the world, we can only process returns through there. Returning to another address may result in the destruction of your package and will not suffice for a refund on your order. If that is not an option for you, we also offer the following: Since we prefer to avoid returns given the ecological process (CO2) emissions, you can then just keep your items and do not have to return anything. (For every 3 orders we plant a tree in the world). Here we can refund (10%) of your total order value to your payment method.
I bought a blouse on this site. When I finally received it, it looked nothing like the blouse on their website. They said I could return it to china and had to take a picture of my return package. It was going to cost me 20.00 to return. I just want to spread awareness that what is on their site is not what you will get.
Completely a scam. Ordered what was pictured and described as a “Woman’s Formal Camel Belted Coat. It was pictured as a long coat, camel wool with belt. After weeks of waiting, I couldn’t believe what I took out of the bag. A short - ( would barely cover hips), No Lining!, no belt - only 2 short “tabs” - irregular- instead of a belt, which weren’t even long enough to reach the buttons they apparently were intended to fasten to, which also were the same buttons to fasten the coat. The stitching was puckered and pockets were offset. When I immediately contacted them for a refund, they replied a couple of days later that they only “have one warehouse, which is in China” and they “do not offer a free return service” and I would have to return the item to China. OR they would offer a “10%” refund and I could “donate it to someone “. I would not insult a homeless person by offering this horrible mistake to them. DO NOT GET MIXED UP WITH THIS THIEVING SCAMMER!
BUYER BEWARE!! I’m so upset I didn’t read the reviews first on this company. The coat I ordered looks nothing like the advertisement. It looks very cheap, arms are short, and it doesn’t even come with tags or description of material, etc. As others stated, it’s advertised as a US based company but it ships from China. The whole money back guarantee is a joke since you will need to ship it back to China at your cost. I emailed the company with my disappointment and haven’t received a response yet.
The jacket I ordered and the jacket I received seem like two totally different jackets. All the right components on the jacket are there, it's just the proportions don't look right and the material looks 20 times cheaper in person than on the site.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I wish I had read reviews for this company before I ordered from them. The quality of the clothes is the worst I’ve ever seen. I reached out to customer service for return instructions and was told that I would have to pay for all shipping, taxes, and tariffs to return it to China, or they would refund only 10% of the cost of the product. This company should be outlawed from selling anything in the USA. It’s a scam.I see that Ash-New York responded to this review asking me to reach out to them. I did reach out to them when I had the issue with the quality. As stated above - they told me I had to pay for the return to China or accept the 10% refund. Reaching out to them is useless.
