I ordered 2 pair pants and a shirt, they were all way too big and long. I followed the return process, went to UPS to return, 10.00 was immediately deducted from what I had paid, they received the merchandise bac on June 18, 2024 and I still yet to receive all of my refund. Their customer service is ridiculous. When you email more than once, it goes to a different person and they just keep requesting the same info over and over. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING ELSE ONLINE FROM ASHLEY STEWART. It always amazes me how quickly and without problem, money can be deducted from your account but you have to go thru ---- and high water to get it returned to your account.

Do not use if you cannot go into a store and do returns. I was charged three times for shipping. When I placed the order I paid for expedited shipping. It took over a week and then they credited that but when I got the items I tried them on and they all fit horribly so I returned them and I had to pay $10 for a label. Not a prepaid label. I packaged it and took to USPS and paid $12 to send it back and then they deduct $10 from your return!. So essentially I paid three times. And don’t get me started on the rude unhelpful customer service via chat.

What went wrong this time

What went wrong this time? How can they improve.....Lets just say Ashley Stewart has went down hill. STILL NO STYLISH CLOTHES. This is my second review since last year. I was hoping that AS was just having a bad year with the style of clothes. AS used to be up to par with the latest in fashion. Old fashioned, Cheap looking, Cheaply made and dull. What happened to the jeans, skinny, flare and capri. What happened to the stylish tops. All the clothing looks like it is for ages 60 and up. As an matter-of-fact majority of todays woman 60 and up would not be caught wearing this old and non-improvised fashion. Mother used to call clothes such as these" mammie made". Ashley Stewart you have done a 360 for the worse. Catering to the black community, I think somewhere in the mix there were those that got tired of us women of color looking good. By far, most of us are the only ones that look good plus-size. I am know their customer sells have went down tremendously. I was addicted to AS,day went by without me checking to see just in and ordering every month. Now I am dedicated and addicted to another web site, stylish, better quality and great sales. So sad.

First, the clerk had an attitude like she really didn't want to be there. My total came up to $150 and once I swiped my card the clerk began to ring up the next person. I stood there for a second then asked if I can have my clothing. She pointed to the side of her register, where my items were folded, and said "they right there". She then picked up the clothes and handed them to me. I asked if I could have them in a bag. She said that you have to purchase a bag for $1.99! I was in shock!!! If I had known that, I would have spent my money somewhere else. Ashley Stewart has lost my business forever.

Buyer Beware!!!

Buyer Beware!!!! most importantly Black Buyers beware this store is a scam!!!! their 30 day return policy is CRAP!!! AN ITEM ORDERED IS NOT THE SAME AS HAVING ITEM IN HAND!!!! How is it ur return period starts as soon as they swipe your card!! why is it stores serving Black women are no better then crappy cheap stores??? Gap, Banana, Ann Taylor are all so much more accommodating and appreciative of Customers and care about service. Ashley Stewart is only in Black Neighborhoods and Robs us!! if a price is discounted online with do I need to threaten not to buy it in store unless I get that price???? Scam!!! it's a shame Black women are treated this way by a store in our Neighborhoods! Never Again!!! Done with them!!!

BAD BUSINESS

I’ve recently purchased about 14 items from Ashley Stewart’s online and three of the items were bigger than expected so naturally I had to send them back. First of all I had to pay $10 to have all the items to me then I had to pay $10 to send the three items back and two separate orders so it was $20. They didn’t allow to print out a return sheet, then the drop off points were too far! I thought ordering offline was support be convenient for the customer? Well needless to say I sent the items back Friday the 25th of May received a confirmation email that they received both packages now I have to wait an additional 14 days for processing????? Huh you received my packages why am I waiting so long for them to be processed when I paid to ship them back? I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone! Please look elsewhere before you order offline from Ashley Stewart Stores!
