Review Time
My experience so far has not been positive at all. They will take your money but there is no flexibility should you need to change dates! Having enrolled on the level 5 I was unable to start on the agreed date. I requested to transfer to a later cohort and was quoted £400!! £400 to move my name from one cohort to another!? Last year myself and a colleague were charged £0 to move cohorts and Avado will not or cannot explain the change from £0 to £400. I can understand a small admin charge but this seems underhand and money grabbing!! Not good customer service at all!! ** Further to your below reply I would have to disagree that you are encouraging people to complete their qualification, I would say it’s the opposite!! I will be unable to complete mine due the extortionate cost to transfer. I’m sorry but you cannot convince me that it costs £400 to transfer someone, that’s just ridiculous!!!!
It looks like most of the reviews here are fake. Avado is only a profit oriented business and they do not care about the performance of their students. They give you a word-count that doesn't reflect the questions given and they don't give student access to turniton to check their similarity levels as they don't want to incur bulk subscription to turniton as most Universities and learning platforms do. They are quick to sell but they don't help in anyway. They only give you a form to complete and when you call them to talk about your results, they will direct you to a form to fill which they don't consider in anyway. Avado, luring students to subscribe to your service and turnaround to be very unhelpful is cheating and I think people should begin to report you to the Ombudsman.
I’d like to thank Michael Ranft for all his support to myself and my Cohort. He efficiently and happily answers queries and explains matters in a way that is easy to understand. I wish to someday complete a Level 5 CIPD and hope that Michael is my tutor once again!
I have just completed my level 3 with Avado. It was a nice experience with Federica Grisanti a remarkable tutor who has played a key role in my academic success. Her patience, clarity, and expertise make even the most challenging subjects easier to understand. She is genuinely committed to her students’ progress, creating a supportive and engaging learning experience. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated and inspiring tutor.
I have just completed my CIPD Level 3 with Avado. My tutor was Michael Ranft and he was really good and explained things well. It was challenging at times but I did feel supported. The only thing is the wait time for my certificate. I am hopefully looking at starting my Level 5 in the near future
Seems like a good way to learn. I have fallen behind and hold my hands up to that (I started a new HR job alongside my course and it was all too much). Now trying to pick myself back up again and get back on track, there’s no response from anyone I reach out to. The content and assessment are continuously changed updated so although I’d like to go back and attempt the units that I missed, I don’t know if they’re still valid or accepting late submissions. Trying to get Avado’s help with this is like drawing blood from a stone. They go on about how they can support all types of people, but the support for those that may need a little more guidance or time isn’t there
