I ordered about 2 weeks ago, paid £10 for a delivery of a small item which I didn't really mind. I waited 2 weeks and had to message to ask where they were. I received a message the next day telling me they'd just posted them yesterday. Not on. I'm to refuse the delivery but I'm not there to do so. Not great at all when you're paying £10 for the delivery.
Really happy with the nursery furniture we purchased, looks as we expected. Beautiful and sturdy build quality. The price was less than other well known stores. Will definatly buy from here again.Only downside was it came in 2 separate deliveries but it was the next day.
Dreadful post purchase experience!I made a purchase online and after several days I decided to call customer service to get an update on delivery. They were very difficult to deal with. I had to push and push to see if they could check what was happening with my order. I got a call back to inform me that their supplier said the item was out of stock (even though it is still showing in stock on Baby Planet website!) and wouldn't be available for another week. So if i didnt call I could have been waiting there for weeks for the delivery and not have any update from Baby Planet. I opted not to wait and asked for a refund. Still waiting for an email confirmation to say they actioned it. As far as im concerned they haven't issued my refund just yet despite me requesting it due to the stock issue. They're clearly lack awareness or care what's happening with customer orders and they do not appear to have an adequate relationship with their supplier. I asked for some compensation because I needed this bed guard for my baby urgently and they wasted my time as I could have bought it somewhere else. They declined! Poor service! I may reach out to Trading Standards to find out if a business is allowed to show products in stock, take payment and then not deliver because the product is not in stock. It's misleading conduct and not treating customers fairly! I also reached out to a couple of Baby Planet stores today to get a confirmation that my order has been cancelled. One store said that a manager can see online orders but he was not in until midday and would call me back. He hasn't. Then in the afternoon I called another store because the first one didn't answer their phones, and I was told they can't see online orders. So I told them what the first store said and they told me unfortunately their manager was not in so couldnt help me. Shambles really! Both online and instore post purchase service has been just as bad. Terrible! Won't be recommending them to anyone and certainly will be warning new mums on the various social media pages of this experience.
I've visited the Derby store twice in recent months and have received fabulous service both times from Sue. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the Silver Cross pram / pushchair systems and demonstrated all of the features. On my second visit, she fitted my car seat which was a great help as I don't have a clue and was worried about getting it right. Thank you Sue! Much appreciated :)
I have been back and fourth with the customer services via email and I am appalled! I purchased a full travel set it was delayed by 2 weeks and I only received 5 days before my due date after being reassured it would be here on time. The car seat hold broke. Completely defective so I emailed the customer service team who were at first helpful and said they would send a replacement straight away. The WRONG part arrived. I emailed the team back they apologised and said they would be in contact when in stock. I left it another 2.5 weeks and I had to chase and they said still not in stock. Well this is unacceptable they should sell a defective product it’s been boiling hot and sunny and the hood is essential. They then offer me 5% refund or a hood when in stock, it’s not good enough. A refund and the hood should at least be applicable. Its brand new and a new born has been in it, no foul play just poor product. I’m waiting for this to be escalated such a poor service!
We bought this for our 2 year old granddaughter. The car seat itself is okay but without isofix is useless for us as it won't fit our roomy Subaru XV/Crosstrek. The seat belt clips will not go through the hole provided to anchor the seat. Also if you used the extension for extra legroom it would leave little passenger seat leg room.
Today we’ve had an amazing experience, at both the Ashby and Derby store. We ended up buying our dream pram at the Derby store with the help of the lovely Susan. Very excited for baby’s arrival now. Thank you so much to Susan and Salman.
