I bought a MMI from this company, no bad albeit short and abrupt email responses through the sales process.However after sales support is non existent, I have a number of times requested from them information about any firmware updates for my product. This is because they specifically tell you in the information that you must NOT apply firmware from any source other than themselves! I was requested to send the current software versions to them, which i did to be met with complete silence despite resending the information 3 times.Very poor indeed, I would not based on this purchase from them again.
SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT part with your cash with these utter thieves! Bought a car from these jokers and they delivered it to West Yorkshire within the price we paid. It was in a hit and run on the way up and they have ignored correspondence and refused to give us our money back. Watch out for them appearing on watchdog on BBC1 soon
Have had excellent service and am very pleased with the unit supplied and installed in my Lexus by Bavarian Auto. The unit arrived promptly. I then asked for installation to be arranged - after some changes this was done by a Director driving to London from Hull to do so. It’s all working well, a great upgrade, with one technical query being looked into. Communication has been regular and good. I’d definitely recommend their product, their installation and overall service. Well worth it.
The post-purchase support for this business is lacking. Twice, I encountered problems with the Aux interface, and each time, it took more than three months to receive a replacement. Their email response time is excessively slow, and despite assurances of replacements being dispatched, weeks pass with no delivery. Meanwhile, the screen I bought remains unusable.
Ordered a CarPlay MMI box for my Mercedes C63 AMG which was received in a timely manner. I followed the instructions and installed. Had some connectivity issues, which caused me to contact the support team. They replied immediately (it was 11pm at night) and resolved the issue with me the next day. A week later, I contacted them about something else, and they responded immediately with a software update. Can't recommend enough, great product and works perfectly.
Excellent product, good sales experience and support service. I placed an order for one of their Audi Carplay/Android Auto boxes late on a Friday was at my door the following Tuesday.Unit was very straight forward to fit, with the exception of a small error in the fitting instructions, this was possibly just a difference with my car being one of the last of its generation. One of the plugs was a different colour to what was in the instructions. A few emails to the support address had this solved very quickly.Unit is now fully installed and working as expected.
What a joke these people are. I bought a MMI box over three weeks ago for a Mercedes NTG 4.7 head unit, and the installation instructions were very basic, but did indicate where the various connections were to be made. Got it connected up, but did not work. I called twice, but both times the call went straight to voicemail. I left a message for someone to please call back, but nothing. I sent a message through the contact form on the website, and also two text messages. Eventually after a little over two weeks of receiving the unit got a text response, asking to describe the issue, despite me explaining in the text message that I sent. I was then asked to send photos and a video of the wiring and explaining the issue, so that the fault could be diagnosed. Quite anoying, as I had disconnected everything so that I could actually drive my car without half of the dash off. I sent photos on WhatsApp, and asked where I should be looking on the screen to bring up the MMI menu, so that I could do a video. It's now over a week later and no response. I sent a message at the end of last week saying that I was at the point where I was going to return the box for a refund. Surprise, surprise, no response.I eventually got a bit creative and tried an online search for the unit, to see if I could find alternative installation instructions. Got lucky, as an Australian company sell the same box under different branding. Their instructions were much clearer, and more to the point, were not the same directions as those included with this box! There were a couple of fibre optic cables that need to be moved from the original harness to the new harness, and an AV cable that had to be removed from the rear of the head unit and plugged in elsewhere, with the new AV cable from the box going directly into the head unit. They also have dedicated troubleshooting pages for audio and video issues.I'm happy that I got the box working, but extremely umhappy that these muppets have my money - I'd rather it be someone that actually gives a damn following a sale. If you are looking into buying one of these boxes, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, they don't deserve your custom, and you don't need the headache.
