I ordered a Volvo CarPlay unit on the 15th December, and on the 17th got an email saying it had been dispatched and a tracking number provided. Over the Christmas holidays the tracking still said Royal Mail were expecting it so I emailed after in the new year to check where it was. Got told it was going to be dispatched at the end of that week but it still never was. It took a further 2 emails over another week from me until they responded saying they were escalating this to management. At this point I told them not to bother dispatching the item and to give me a refund as it had been over a month since I ordered. This was now 11 days ago and still no contact from them, I have had to resort to disputing the money with my credit card company. Can’t tell whether it’s a scam company or just terrible customer service, but would strongly advise not ordering anything from them unless you want to loose your money.I ended up ordering a CarPlay unit from a Chinese company (isudar) instead and it arrived in 4 days from china and the customer service was amazing.Edit: name was wrong on my profile (has been corrected) and company replied saying no record of the order. I purchased the 10.25" screen upgrade hoping for a seamless modern CarPlay/Android Auto experience. While the hardware installation was acceptable, the screen developed a consistent software/display issue almost immediately.I contacted Bavarian Automotive Support via WhatsApp, as instructed, on October 24th, 2025. This is where the nightmare began.Instead of troubleshooting the screen itself, I was given the excuse that the problem was caused by a compatibility issue with the iOS 26 update and was told, point-blank, to wait for a subsequent iOS update to fix their product. This is a ridiculous deflection, but I waited.Since that initial contact, two major operating system updates have been released, and the issue on the screen remains completely unchanged. More importantly, Bavarian Automotive Support has now completely stopped replying to my messages.It is now November 16th, and I have had zero communication, zero resolution, and a malfunctioning screen for nearly a month. They acknowledged the issue, provided a misleading excuse, failed to follow up, and have now abandoned their obligation to provide support for a product they sold.Buyer beware. Do not be fooled by the high-quality products they advertise; their customer support is non-existent when problems arise. I am stuck with a buggy screen and no recourse. Save your money and buy from a company that stands behind its products.
Had the system installed into my audi s5 2015, had nothing but issues, i paid the extra to have it installed by their specialist, the bluetooth phone calls are terrible, the system likes to restart randomly, connection issues, music sometimes plays through the radio or spotify, now it just randomly reboots while driving, i have tried to reach out for support but it appears they are no longer interesting in resolving this.
contacted the guys on instagram for a part, they confirmed it will fit and work so I ordered the part. 3 months has gone by with no part, no emails and they don't reply to emails or instagram messages. they don't even have a phone number listed 🚩
As per a few of the other reviewers, there were no instructions contained in any of the packaging. So I have emailed, messaged them and WhatsApp message them and still nothing. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect an email PDF by return showing the instructions given that these units are there bread and butter. Very seriously considering returning the unit due to the lack of communication from the seller. Very frustrating and a poor customer experience with regards to any service 😞 Edit* I have received communication from the company and hopefully my issue will be resolved. Further Edit * Have actually received some very good help with my issues and am happy to report that all is working as it should, still got a small issue with Android auto in terms of it not picking up my voice when I'm speaking to text or reply to WhatsApp messages but not 100% that it's an issue with the unit rather than just my system. That said, Reece was very helpful in sorting my problems and I'm happy to recommend.
Customer service isn't great. No instructions initially in the box so had to ask for instructions which is fine. Instructions were for the wrong vehicle but managed to work through that.I also paid for 3-5 day delivery, the unit didn't even get dispatched within 3-5 days let alone delivered.Android auto keeps disconnecting, which caused a lot of problems whilst driving through France and other countries. multiple solutions were offered however none have worked. Have been sent a different set of dip switches to try (completely different to the user manual) and now that I have asked for a refund and return the item I've been told that they will refuse the return because it's outside of their 14 day policy (despite me bringing this issue up within less than a week of delivery). Support was slow so this went on for a few weeks with multiple prompts from me. The dip switches have been changed as per their advice and yet the unit still restarts itself randomly.It's also sold as having a HDMI input on it - the unit itself does have a HDMI input but there is no way of this displaying on the unit. I've requested advice on this and sent pictures of firmware versions as requested but this has now been ignored.Advice given has been contradictory, I've been told that I don't need to connect my unit to my cars Bluetooth directly but then told in another message that I do.I'm now stuck with a faulty unit as they refused to return it for a refund.
