The equipment does not work.Having spoken to a REAL Apple Carplay specialist, I now know that this company are selling equipment that will not work on the majority of BMW models. Furthermore, they refuse to offer any help or customer service let alone a refund. Avoid them at all costs

The worst ever customer experience

The worst customer service I have ever come across. BEWARE. I purchased Apple CarPlay through this company. After several failed installation attempts and after following the bot’s instructions via WhatsApp and still no joy I asked to return it as it did not work. They said (wait for it) I couldn’t return as it had been used! How would I know it didn’t work if I hadn’t used it!! They emailed back to say it was a “quick fix” and I could arrange a telephone appointment. I gave some available dates but no appointment was made. I last emailed them in early Feb still trying to get an appointment and 7 weeks later, yes SEVEN WEEKS LATER, I’m still waiting for a reply. Absolutely appalling customer service and a useless product. All I want is to return the item and get a refund, it is not fit for purpose. My next stop will have to be trading standards. Just wish I’d taken notice of the all the bad reviews before dealing with this joke of a company

Really bad experience here

Really bad experience here. Bought CarPlay add on for Porsche pcm3.1 for a client. (I am an installer) Install was simple enough and pretty much impossible to get wrong it seemed. Device has seperate power requirement labelled 12v ACC So I connected it via the supplied fuse to an ACC(ignition switched) supply in the fuse box.Following the install the device worked perfectly for approx 1/2 hour until I switched off the ignition. The ACC was therefore switched off but the pcm keeps working as it does in most modern cars for a period of time. However within seconds the pcm blew up with a smell of burning as its power supply was unable to supply the full load required. All I got from support was continual demands for photos of the install and zero response to my questions about the power issue even after I was given the email address of their top tech guy. pcm repair cost £1200 and due to zero response I was not happy to refit the unit even if I moved the ACC to the delayed ACC to match the pcm supply. Therefore I purchased a replacement unit elsewhere. As an installer to be £1600 out of pocket is not funny! I told them that I was not after a refund I just wanted some answers but got a stone wall!

VW Tiguan software for CarPlay

I ordered a software update for my VW Tiguan SEL 2018 model.The infotainment system had a gateway for CarPlay but it had never been activated.I contacted my local VW dealership in Bridgend, but they refused to help.I contacted Bavarian-Automotive who helped me out.I sent them a photograph of my infotainment system and current software.They sent me an SD card with the software update for my system.I uploaded the software, and Yes it works.Great help and service, the only downside was it took a few weeks to arrive. But extremely happy.

Bad comms and useless product

Purchased a CarPlay activation for a 2017 BMW. Triple checked compatibility and version of infotainment system. It didn’t work. System only supports split screen CarPlay and was provided full screen software. Contact BA and they said they would send a different file (after many emails to chase up!) The different file was exactly the same as the first one and didn’t work again. They now don’t reply to my emails so I’m out of pocket by £70! Save your money and do your research before using BA.

Bought a ENET to OBD cable for my apple…

Bought a ENET to OBD cable for my apple car play, after 2 weeks now with multiple emails and messages on WhatsApp there has been absolutely no response from them on where my package is. I can’t even comment on their customer service as it’s literally non existent.

They just want your money - AVOID THEM!

Purchased an android auto box along with parking camera for my Audi A3 8v. Initially all worked but, after a few weeks, the camera stopped working. I contacted them and they took forever to get back to me. They requested I take a photo of the wiring. I had to take off all the dashboard again to get this picture. They sent out a replacement camera. When I went through hassle of installing it all, it still didn't work. They then asked for wiring of the CAMERA, so I had to take off the back again and did so. They are now completely blanking me for emails and on whats app. It's obvious they know their box is faulty but don't want to address the situation. Absolutely terrible service and dishonesty on their part. I would urge you all to avoid this company - they don't care once they have your money. UPDATE - Yet more lies. I have screenshots of all the emails and whatsapp messages I have sent and had no response to. Trustpilot needs to have a way for us to attach pictures!UPDATE 2 - So, instead of trying to help me and resolve the situation, they tried their utmost to get this review taken down by claiming it was defamatory! Luckily, Trustpilot were able to see their desperate attempt to hide an honest review and so ignored their request!UPDATE 3 - So they have responded to my review with some facts. I do not dispute them sending me a replacement camera (you literally made me beg, your response does not mention this!). All your responses to ANY issue want me to rip out the whole dashboard again and send you pictures of wiring even though the item works fine for a time (so is wired correctly) and then has issues. It's obvious you know most people won't bother going through that and it saves you having to replace poor quality items. You also originally claimed that you didn't recieve any of my emails but, as if by magic, they have now appeared? As for my account and reviews, I find it really sad that you have had to go through my profile and try to use that against me somehow - it proves what kind of man you are and what kind of business you run. In all of my reviews, I have never been called dishonest so, if anything, it proves my point. The whole concept of Trustpilot is leaving honest reviews so that people don't fall into the hands of 'businesses' like yours. You sell inferior products and top it off by being unprofessional and dishonest. You DID try to have my review removed and Trustpilot emailed me to confirm this but then said, upon checking my review, they found it to be fine! Your response has only proved I was correct with my original review. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I may have wasted over £250 but I hope I save others from doing so and that will make it all worthwhile. Long live consumer rights, long live platforms like Trustpilot! I suggest YOU find a hobby because you're obviously not cut out for this line of business. Mine isn't the only honest review - how many do you think Trustpilot will remove??? UPDATE 4 - The tone of the response has changed. They're being very formal and professional now but it's mutton dressed as lamb. How can you label a customer a 'blatant liar', tell him to 'get a hobby' and then talk to me about legal obligations and rights? I have not posted ONE fake thing and stand by it all - it may seem like nonesense to you but that's because you're the ones making money selling shoddy items so why would you care what I experienced? It's all good and well trying to give a professional repsonse now but it's a bit late when you have had me running around and begging for support and you still seem to be taking pot shots. The unit is either a faulty one or it's just absolute rubbish. No one will be taking off their dashboards to send you photos of wiring. If everything was working well for a time and then stops, it doesn't take a genius to figure out it was wired correctly and the issue is something else.I have said what I wanted to say. I wanted people to know of the bad experience I had and the fact that, IN MY OPINION, neither the product or the service are worth the money and I stand by that whole heartedly. The fact that your original response claimed I hadn't even emailed, then you found the emails and called me a liar and were insulting towards me before changing tact just proves you don't know whether you are coming or going. You then have the audacity to threaten me or other reviwers with the defamation act? Are you even serious. Your low Trustpilot score is a correct one. I will also make this clear so you can try to take me to court. Your service is non-existant / pathetic. You tell people to send you pictures of wiring etc when the problem is nothing to do that that but you kjnow it's too much hassle for most. Your product is ther same as AliExpress and the 'software' you claim is amazing in unreliable and buggy. Prices are also well above worth. SUE ME FOR TELLING THE TRUTH. Cowboys

No after sales support - no one answers

If you’re expecting support and a responsive team to help you through troubleshooting or installations, this isn’t the company for you. Don’t respond to emails and don’t respond to WhatsApp messages. I’ve asked a couple of simple questions and chased up three times to no avail. It’s all well and good to respond here on Trustpilot but when you have a product of this nature, you should be readily available to answer queries especially in the first year of purchase.

Doesn't work, poor after sales care and poor comms.

Despite purchasing a software download for my 2017 BMW 3 series on Monday of this week for £59, on Saturday it is still not working. There are no contact details for the business other than email, and although I have received a few responses to my queries requesting support in making the installation work, I only seem to receive a response when chasing each day. It would be so much easier to rectify the issue on the telephone but the business doesn't provide a phone number nor are any names used in email correspondence. Yesterday I asked for a solution to the problem by the end of the day otherwise I would be requesting a full refund; I heard nothing back. Based on the product not working and poor after sales care, I cannot recommend this company and would advise any future customer to proceed with caution.

Installation on Apple CarPlay

Following doubt as to whether my Porsche Macan GTS had PCM 4.0, or only PCM 3.1, gave Bavarian Automotive all my software information, they confirmed I had PCM 4.0. Purchased SD card from them, they assisted me with this installation of Apple CarPlay, which is tricky and did take just over the hour to install, with Reece staying on the line all the time. Excellent service from this company, would highly recommend them.
