I’m giving 2 stars only because the bus actually showed up and got me to my destination.The real problem is what happened with my backpack. After contacting the company, they told me they had found it and that it was safe in a deposit, the driver had supposedly taken it there. They even said they would arrange for a bus to bring it to Marseille, where I could pick it up. I was promised a call back, but that never happened.When I called them the next day, the story completely changed. Suddenly, they claimed they had no idea about my backpack. They denied ever finding it and acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about. I filled out an official lost-item form, but to this day I still have no information.This feels like a scam, what happened to my bag if they told me it was safe? On top of that, I met two people at the station who said their bags disappeared during the trip and never arrived. This is different than what happened to me, even more terrifying.Horrible service, unreliable communication, and zero accountability. Honestly, just avoid this company.
I got the bus from Metz to Prague. The bus was running late so the driver decided to let his mates off at earlier stops. When I went to get off as well so that I could catch my connecting train, the driver physically stopped me and said 'customers cannot get off at unscheduled stops'. When I challenged him, he told me that they were his colleagues. I complained to the company and was ignored.Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
I am extremely disappointed with BlaBlaCar. I had a confirmed booking for myself and my mother on one of their buses — the first leg of our long-planned journey to Italy via Milan. Suddenly, without warning, BlaBlaCar cancelled the bus, leaving us completely stranded and making it impossible to reach Milan on time for our connecting train.What’s worse, they offered no alternative transport, no real assistance, and no compensation equivalent to the damages they caused — even though we explained that this cancellation sabotaged our entire holiday, including accommodation and non-refundable reservations.This is unacceptable customer service. When a company cancels a key part of a confirmed journey, they should take responsibility, especially when it directly leads to further financial loss and distress for the customer.I strongly do not recommend BlaBlaCar based on this experience — unreliable, unhelpful, and lacking accountability.
Terrible customer service. I have used it a few times before, not had the best journeys. This time I cancelled within 30 minutes of booking due to unforeseen circumstances and they still charged me more than 50%.When replying to their email asking for them to reconsider they copied and pasted their original email. Extremely unprofessional. Will not use their app ever again and will advise people against using them.
I arrived at the bus terminal 30 minutes early. I was waiting and watching for a bus to arrive as it said it was coming from Paris. There was a bus stationary at the far end of the terminal with no signs, no name, no indication what so ever that it was the bus going I was ment to get. It pulled off and only when I read the company logo on the back of the bus did I realise it was the bus I was ment to get. Some digital display of signage would be nice! Disappointed and annoyed
Slow and unhelpful support, chaotic help center articles, technical problems with the webiste.Lost a week of my life waiting for the support team to give me an answer only to find out a technical problem was to blame and nobody was able to notice.7 days ago I bought a Blablacar Bus with google pay, as the money gets taken from my account (with evidence from my bank) I recieve no confirmation email of the purchase from Blablacar and no ticket. I immediately contact the support team stating my departure date, time and providing proof from my bank, two days later they reply asking me to provide the exact same information I had already given. After three more days they reply saying they can't find any bookings with my email address. It's now 7 days from departure time. Desperate to find a solution I start browsing all the articles on their help center, i find a tool to look for my booking without a reservation number and only giving my email and depature details. I try to find my bookings with all my possibile emails. Nothing works.I decide to login with my only blablacar account, the one I had not used in years and which I had not used to book my trip since I was using incognito mode on my browser and was not logged in anyway. The ticket magically appears, despite it not existing according to the support and the web tool.
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent BlaBlaCar experience on the 25 April 2025. My trip was delayed by 2 hours and 16 minutes with barely any communication or updates which led to miss my next train trip. It completely messed up my plans. If you value your time and reliability, I would seriously reconsider using this service. Very unprofessional. To never travel with them again.
2u delay with blablacar bus.We miss our appointment in Paris.We miss our connection to take the bus back to Brussel.Conclusion.Planned day of traveled ruined.Refund only 50% if your bus has 2hours or more delay AND it s a voucher meaning it can only be reused in Blablacar services.No customer service and service is made by AI. So no human react meaning. If something goes wrong it's wrong completely.
