I am yet another unsatisfied customer who destroyed my blendjet due to their recall request and after a year, despite a number of emails, have still not received a replacement. It seems to me that they have no intention of honoring their commitment to the customers they sold dangerous products to which is very disappointing. I would not recommend buying products from this company.
My husband bought 3 Blendjets in 2023. One for me, our daughter and daughter in law. I liked the Blendjet and used it often. In January 2024 a recall was issued. 2 of the 3 Blendjets were on the recall list. We followed the instructions as per Blendjet which required us to cut the rubber seal which made it unusable. After many emails over the course of 14 months we still have no replacement parts. Very disappointed in their customer service. We were told they can’t refund our money yet they continue to sell them. I finally had to reach out to the BBB. Hopefully I will get this resolved. There are many options for small personal blenders on the market. I recommend to not take a chance on Blendjet.
I purchased a BlendJet in January 2022. It was recalled January 2024 with a promise that there would be replacements supplied. Per instruction from BlendJet I cut the gasket rendering the blender useless. It is March 2025 and BlendJet has stopped answering any messages on any platforms. Their phone number is out of service. Massive slap in the faces of millions of customers. They continue to ship out brand new units to people! Unreal.
Don’t buy. OVER A YEAR AGO I particpated in the product recall and requested a replacement. A replacement that never came UNTIL I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Then they sent a replacement…that does not work at all. And did not work from the day I received it. Blend Jet customer service NEVER responded to my email regarding it. If you ever receive a replacement, it will be in a color that does not sell well…you won’t get the color you ordered. Now that tariffs are in place, the company will probably ever send another recall replacement to their customers waiting.
I participated in the Blendjet recall January 2024 and still have not received a replacement. I contacted them in August 2024 on Facebook and was given a nothing answer about how the order is still "being processed" I've filed complaints with the CPSC and BBB and they have not answered any of my complaints. It has been more than a year since my Blendjet has been unusable due to the requirement of cutting the plastic part for the recall process. This is utterly ridiculous. I'm only still pursuing my replacement because they are refusing to offer a refund. I will never ever recommend this brand to family or friends.
If I could give blendjet 0 stars I would. I have been waiting over 8 months for my recall replacement. My blendjet had no issues whatsoever but I complied with the recall and destroyed what they asked. After 8 months of waiting for a “6 Week” replacement estimate the only thing Ive received is the same BS response from the customer bullshit department. “We have had a delay in our supply chain” blah, blah, blah and rest assured you will receive your replacement sometime between now and hell freezing over. Of course I notice that you can still purchase this product all over the place but for some reason they just cant get you the replacements they said they would. DO NOT BUY this product. Politeness does not equate to customer service and integrity. This company only cares about “selling” their product.
UPDATE July 2025:Absolutely no communication from BlendJet, emails to them have gone ignored. Never ever use this company!!!UPDATE:So it seems the duplicitous nature of BlendJet extends as far as their use of trust pilot responses. They still haven’t gotten in touch, so their copy and paste response to the reviews here is just another failure by a company that couldn’t care less about it’s customers.—If you’re considering buying a blendjet I’d strongly advise you not to! If the way they have handled the safety recall is anything to go by you’ll regret your purchase should anything go wrong. We’ve been waiting a year for our two potentially dangerous devices to be replaced and every time customer service have been contact they’ve made the same claim about supply chain issues. The year long wait for those who bought from blendjet in the past hasn’t stopped them selling devices to new customers. When asked if they could offer a new device to those waiting they’ve said they don’t have any plans to do so. So what kind of low poorly quality assured stock are they planning to send to the loyal customers who have been waiting a year for a replacement if they deem them unworthy to get a product from the new ones they’re selling? The whole thing feels shady, and certainly not a business that any new customers should trust.Also, please observe that many of the reviews here complain about impersonal templated responses to issues and every negative review on here about the recall has the exact same templated response.
I got my Blendjet about a year ago... I haven't used it much because it is VERY DIFFICULT TO CLEAN!!!! Beware of using this with young children and anyone prone to infection. The design includes 6 tiny little indents in the top underneath the "rubber" seal, which get stuffed with whatever you are mixing. Removing the rubber seal of course to clean it. but the indents are impossible to clean. Even milk shakes the milk stagnates in those little fissures. Being rechargeable I thought it would be a great thing for travelling and off grid. But the design flaws cause this to be risky if conventional cleaning/hot water and specialist tools to get into the tiny little bacteria traps are unavailable! I am unable to remove the detritus which has now built up in there. Cleaning underneath the seals is important but they are made of flimsy stuff so taking them out and putting them back in regularly causes them to stretch and fail to seal eventually. Absolutely not worth £50. Very disappointed. Poor design. Flimsy materials.
I purchased 2 BlendJet blenders as Christmas gifts for my kids in December 2022. In January 2024, the company recalled the blenders. I followed the steps (destroying the rubber seal to make the blenders unusable) for the recall and sent in my form to get replacements. That has been OVER A YEAR AGO. I paid money for blenders that we can't even use! Everytime I email the company, I get a canned response. The last time I told them I didn't even want their blender anymore, just a refund so I can purchase a different blender. Told they don't give refunds. So, no replacement blender, no refund......they basically stole my money. Awful company. Do not purchase from them.Oh, and they are still advertising and selling NEW BlendJets! They actually had the nerve to send me a coupon to purchase a new one - ha!
