Still WAITING - BlendJet Recall

My friend informed me that there was a recall and I followed the online link and submitted a photo of the 2 blenders that I bought from Costco last year. My friend has not received any replacements since she processed it the BEGINNING of 2024! They finally responded to me on February 6 of this year with the same response they have been giving everyone else about "high influx of recall orders, which has caused a backlog and a shortage of kits. We are hoping that transparency and honesty about our current situation will help customers feel more at ease. Being a small company, this recall has impacted us substantially, and we are trying to keep up with demand. Once your base kit ships, you will receive an email with the tracking details. While we do not have a specific timeframe for the shipment at this moment, we appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work to fulfill your order."How much longer will it take to get my replacement parts since they cannot be used at all now? My friend has been waiting 1-1/2 YEARS! Why are they still being sold at other retail stores? Are they out of business and does a Class Action Lawsuit need to be filed?

I have bought over 6 BlendJets to be totally ignored!

I have bought over 6 BlendJets for myself & gifts. Two of mine were in the recall & it has been way over a year since first contacted but the messaged me in Nov. 24 & I still haven’t received the replacements. They can sure come up with all of the new & fun styles but can’t even replace the fun colors I originally bought with ugly ones! I am so disappointed that I spent my money on so many from them only to be ignored! Forget trying to call them because the phone is always busy!

Do not buy from this company

Over the past two years, there has been a noticeable decline in customer service quality for this company. In November, I was advised to wait for the replacement of my two Blend Jet 2 units due to supply chain issues, which extended well beyond the promised four-week timeframe after destroying my original units. I was told to expect the replacements in early March; however, after months of no communication, I discovered that the company has ceased operations. Consequently, they will not be fulfilling warranty replacements for defective units. Despite this, the company continues to sell new products on their website, raising concerns about fairness to their customers.This situation highlights the importance of researching a company's customer service reputation before making a purchase. Given the high cost of the units, at $69.99+taxes CAD each, along with additional accessories purchased over the years, consumers may expect a higher level of support and loyalty from the brand.

Recalled and no replacement

Tl;dr: Blendjet recalled their blenders because they were dangerous - the blades could come loose and cause bodily harm. They never honored their promise to replace my blender and many others experienced the same treatment.Storytime: I purchased my Blendjet blender 11/16/21 and received a safety recall notice 12/28/23 - I followed all instructions in the email. Filled out their recall form. Never heard back from Blendjet, never received my replacement blender.I reached out 7/16/24 and asked, "When will I receive my replacement blender?"Blendjet's response: "We want to assure you that your order is not lost. Many orders, including your replacement, are currently on hold. We are actively working to resolve these issues and will continue processing and shipping base kits as soon as inventory is available. Rest assured, you do not need to create a new replacement request. Your order is in progress and will be processed once base kit processing resumes fully. Once your base kit ships, you will receive an email with the tracking details. While we do not have a specific timeframe for the shipment at this moment, we appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work to fulfill your order."I reached out again 11/23/2024 and asked when my replacement would arrive. I also asked if I could have a refund instead.Blendjet's response: "I am afraid we still do not have an exact date for them to arrive. While I'm not able to provide a specific ETA or date when this will ship, I can absolutely promise that we're putting a ton of effort into getting out replacements. We are still not authorized to issue refunds or upgrades (full new units) for any recall units. We understand this may be disappointing news, but we are committed to resolving this matter. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order ships."No word from Blendjet to this day - 2 years later.

Do not buy from them and contact CPSC

I found out that my Blendjet was part of a recall and quickly destroyed the base and ring as they had instructed and sent pictures to their email address. This was 8 months ago in October 2024. I followed up with them in January and they returned to me with the same "high influx of recall orders, which has caused a backlog and a shortage of kits" excuse. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to wait a bit longer. Four months since my original follow-up email and I still haven't received it. I emailed them a week ago and they never responded to my email. This is an irresponsible company that sells defective blenders and does not even stand behind their products when it comes to it. I filed a complaint with CPSC, and I am ready to take it to more public websites if I don't receive my replacement soon.

Wish I could give negative stars

Wish I could give negative stars. This company will sell you a product, have it recalled- ask you to cut the main gasket in 3 parts- send them a photo to prove it all and tell you they will send replacement parts. Then ghost you. Hundreds maybe thousands are waiting on replacement, they no longer respond to emails or phone calls. This has been going on for 2 years!!! Worst company ever. Buy Ninja

Extremely unhappy with the customer…

Extremely unhappy with the customer service. My Blendjet was recalled if I recollect over a year ago. I submitted the request to receive a replacement as requested. Followed up with customer service twice and I have still not received the replacement. Please do not trust this brand

Poor Company. No replacement of recalled blender

Destroyed my blender as directed because of the recall. 03-03-2024. Now 1.5+ years later, they say they are out of business and wont be sending the replacement. The company is still selling blenders. DO NOT BUY. I reported to BBB and Consumer safety.

Three of four units were recalled

I bought four of these and 3 were recalled. I sent in my replacement orders on 9/25/2025 (2) and 10/15/2024 (1). I received a confirmation and have not received the replacements, only excuses.

Their product is dangerous and not fit…

Their product is dangerous and not fit for purpose. I was told to destroy my product for a replacement due to safety issues. Plenty of time had passed since I had applied for the replacement, but I was told not to follow up. I contacted them after over a year, and they told me that their company had gone bankrupt, and so they cannot provide me with the replacement that they had promised. They are still selling products on their website. I am filing a complaint with Consumer Advice.
