Review Time
As with many others, I destroyed my sealing ring to participate in the recall. That was December 2023. As of March 2025, I have yet to receive the replacement. I was told that there are supply chain issues, but the product is still being sold in stores. I was gifted another Blendjet and it already stopped charging. Customer service told me to purchase another. I will not be fooled a third time. What a disgraceful company!
I have been waiting for a year for my replacement blendjet base that was recalled. The company required that the one I purchased be destroyed to register for a replacement, saying it would be max 6-8 weeks. After 7 months, they claimed it was "supply chain issues" when I reached out. If the materials are the same as the the brand new products they continue to sell to customers every day on their site, how is that possible? Clearly it's cash flow issues, though I would imagine the longer they go without making things right with old customers, it will be harder to attract new ones. After reaching out again this week, a few days short of a year since my replacement "order" was confirmed, they claimed the same thing. I requested a new unit since they are selling those and are clearly available, and they said "these policies are very firm and we will not be able to provide you with a refund or upgrade." This "voluntary" recall was truly deceptive. I just want what I paid for. It boggles my mind that this company is allowed to continue to keep doing business when they owe so many people replacements or refunds.
BEWARE: BlendJet does not stand behind their product. I have one and it has never worked, or charge. THE did replace the original unit but the replacement unit was not better. Wiil not charge properly (only last 30 seconds after a charge) will not blend ice cream or ice or cut fruit unless you place games with the unit turning t upside down, shake and do a dance. DO NOT PURCHAE THESE ITEMS, they do not work as their video portray. there are alternative, make the right choice.
They forced me to destroy my disabled sons gift which they said had been recalled and we have been waiting for over a year for a promised replacement with excuse after excuse.......So in effect have taken money for a faulty item!!!Possibly thousands of us find ourselves in this position and this needs to be further investigated officially under government......
Just like all the other 1 star reviews, I have lost all trust in the BlendJet company. They've claimed the same issue for not fulfilling the replacement for over a year now. I've sent 4 seperate emails now receiving useless excuses in return. It's funny how they have issues with the supply chain but have no issues in the supply chain for the new complete units they produce and sale every day. I would have chosen this company over every other company for my personal blender uses until this happened. I will never buy another product from them again and will advise anyone else to avoid them as well. A company that actually cared would've had this issue resolved long ago. All they did by issuing a recall was avoid being sued for selling a potentially dangerous, defective blender by making people destroy the base sealin order to "receive" their replacement. I have never seen a company with such poor customer service as this one. They should've just sent complete new units to begin with to replace them.
Like all 1 star reviews, recall related and trust lost in the company entirely. Customer service strings you along with meaningless emails for over a year until you report them to a consumer agency.This company should be embarrassed and I hope they go under.
