I totally agree with Awe Som user - shame we cannot give negative stars let alone zero stars. Blendjet is a horrible company and product!At this point both their lack of communication regarding any potential updates as well as flat out refusal to comply with a safety recall replacement is unacceptable and in extreme bad business etiquette.I find Blendjet products FOR SALE still available through other e-commerce outlets. As to why they continue to sell a less than adequate, or rather let’s be honest - downright dangerous, products is beyond me. Their lack of customer care, concern and service as well as implied refusal to comply with the safety recall replacement indications is deplorable. We are far beyond “understanding” at this point.I get you can’t get blood from a turnip and there is no juice to squeeze from them but my hopes are that they hang their heads in shame for having scammed millions of consumers.Shame Shame Shame on them!
Have been waiting for nearly ONE YEAR for a warranty replacement BlendJet2 that was supposed to take 4-6 weeks to arrive.Have made several requests for status via email to BlendJet customer support but get flimsy responses 'that we do not have an estimated shipping date but we have not forgotten about you!'This is insulting as BlendJet clearly has inventory to keep shipping from their website, stock Target shelves, and certainly their 'social media influencers' likely have not had any down time. I wish I could just get my money back instead of being held hostage this way. Total trash company.
I, too -- like many other reviewers -- participated in the recall. That was January 2024. I have yet to receive my replacement parts, almost a year and half later. I barely got to use my BlendJet, which was a gift, before the recall was issued, and once I requested my refund, I was required to physically destroy the old parts, so I have definitely not gotten my money's worth. That one smoothie I got to make was pretty expensive!I contacted the company, of course, most recently in January of this year. I will also note that, after ordering the replacement, I almost immediately got an email informing me of a "delay," followed by 6 months of no communication, until I reached out to check on the status of the order and was told to just be patient. Then radio silence again for another 6 months until this January when I contacted them again.The response this time was that they hadn't received the replacement parts yet. That would be annoying but somewhat understandable, except that they continue to sell the product. They have what they need right there, in stock, they just refuse to send it to those of us who already paid our money. When I asked why they can't just use some of the new product to fulfill these recall commitments, the very unsatisfactory response was simply that the replacements are "manufactured separately." I still fail to see why that would matter, if they are the exact same product, but I got no response at all when I questioned that. (And no, I wasn't unreasonable or abusive in my email. I was obviously unhappy, but I also tried to be as professional as possible and made it clear that I did not blame the customer service representative I was dealing with at all since they likely didn't have anything to do with these kinds of decisions.)So basically, what I guess the company is saying is they don't care at all if their product is functional, as long as they get your money.Please, don't fall for it.(Also, I see that on the BBB website and on the recall section of BlendJet's own website, they claim to have gone out of business as of May 2025 ... but their website is still live, with people apparently still able to make purchases there, and no mention of shutting down anywhere else on the website or their social media. 🤨
WASTE OF TIMEAMONGST THE FANCY IMAGERY AND MARKETING THAT HAS GONE INTO THIS COMPANY, THERE HAS ALSO BEEN A LARGE NUMBER OF PRODUCT RECALLS. Product recalls are fantastic provided the company fulfills the return part of that journey.We were advised by the company to remove and destroy a certain piece of the blendjet due to an error and was told that the company would send out the required replacement part after we confirmed destroying to bad part. The replacement never happened.Company covered damage limitation on a poor product so customers were not unsafe, but never spent the money to reimburse the customer and send a replacement parts or item.Terrible.
They lied that they would replace 2 of my Blend Jets that stopped working, and wouldn't charge anymore. Don't trust this company, they are selling junk from China at a high price. Told me they would replace them in January of 1925 and still haven't received my replacements , and it's September now. Don't waste your money. Many of them have caught on fire according to some reports.
Got done by the recall scam. They made me destroy the product early 2024 and to this day I still haven’t received the replacement which was promised. Nearly 2 years waiting and chasing.Will never buy from this company and would not recommend.They can’t be trusted
So, first impression were 'wow the perfect blender indeed' -portable, easy usb charging etc. Then came the 'Recall' scam. Like many I waited for months then decided to really push for my replacement and got one within a week after that. Then the replacement died a few months later, totally dead for no reason. Now I see the very well known blender brand which I can't name on here makes a portable blender, and it's all on the biggest retailer website, all covered by law. There you go -get lost Blendjet crooks!
I purchased 2 BlendJets from COSTCO in 2023. When BlendJet revealed that their seal was deficient I forwarded claims as instructed in early January 2024, with pictures of the seals cut in three pieces. From Jan to April 2024 I received updates that they would be replacing them after a "brief hold." I queried periodically but the last time I heard from them was last December.
Been waiting on a new blendjet after the recall for going on almost 3 months now. I emailed to ask about an update on when I can expect it and was told to just be patient alongside no updated timeline. I have gone this long without making my morning smoothie and I REFUSE to go out and buy another blendjet given this experience. At this rate I'll be buying anew Ninja portable blender to replace the recalled one I had to break in order to receive the new one. I see so many other people with similar experiences while new customers get theirs within a week or so. You would think they would want to support their current clients, but apparently once they have your first purchase they don't care anymore.
