Review Time
The shipment information shown on this website indicates the any order will be shipped in one week. However, having paid the full amount for a £500 headphones, they somehow 'updated' the shipment information telling me that my order will not be shipped in 2 weeks. Called the customer service trying to cancel the order, the guy over the phone barely speaks English and told me the order cannot be canncelled as it is now being 'prepared'. Should've read the cooments before making purchases on this freaking ridiculous website.
I thought I'd buy direct from BOSE for Christmas this year. I purchased some ear phones on the 3rd Dec, and was guaranteed a 5 working day turnaround. I'm now being told via WhatsApp messaging that not only will it arrive after Christmas but I can't have a refund as the item is too far through the process! Very Poor.
Really bad. Ordered on 3rd December. Took forever for any update or even my card to be charged. I was fine waiting as they said it would be a few weeks to dispatch. Then the product was stuck in Belgium with UPS. Clearly a mishap and mismanagement between these two firms. Then the product was "attempted delivery" which it wasn't as I was in, and the result is the product being sent back to Bose and me being refunded. 1 month of waiting for nothing. Meanwhile, this is costing me money as if I reorder with them I won't get the promo deal with my credit card anymore as it expires now. I spoke to someone helpful yesterday (was easy to get through as well). But they said they'd call back with an update (I'd expect an email at the very least). I haven't heard anything so am left in the dark not knowing when this Christmas present will arrive, if ever. Wishing I had just brought from Amazon or another brand. You try to go direct and this is the care they take.
Looks like I'm not the only customer that thinks 1 star is generous. If there was an option to leave 0 starts, I would.It also looks like I have experienced the same issues that many other customers have. It's been 2 weeks and all Bose have told me is that my order has been placed.- Lack of communication after an order was placed (3rd of December)- Over promising delivery times only to vastly under deliver.- Customer service that either blames it on their delivery partner or offers vague/confusing updates. (I don't blame the customer service rep as they can't resolve the systemic issues that Bose obviously has in fulfilling orders.)I should have read these reviews before ordering directly from Bose as otherwise I would have either chosen a competitor product or, shopped via another stockist.Why bother trying to be an e-commerce business if you can't take an order and deliver it to paying customers within a reasonable time-frame?
I have been a long time Bose customer, their products have amazing sound quality and are usually very long lasting. I recently had issues with my QuietComfort 2 Ear Buds, one stopped charging. I went online, filled in a form and they agreed to replace them with the newer QuietComfort Ultra’s, I just had send them back and they would send the new ones. The whole process took about 2 weeks, which I thought wasn’t too bad. I do agree with some reviews that they should really have UK stock to avoid delays with customs but other than that, the customer service is excellent.
Absolutely shocking customer service. Each representative tells me something different and, like others, get the “you’ll receive confirmation in 24-48 hours” which never arrives. Cannot cancel the order as it’s “in processing” and has been for two weeks. No written complaints procedure. Will be returning the headphones, assuming I ever receive them, and will never shop with them again
Terrible Customer service and do not stick to delivery times. I ordered a pair of headphones which have been stuck in the order processing stage for over a week. I have tried to reach out to Bose with no joy. I recommend buying their products from another retailer as they are terrible. When I tried to contact the support team I was left in a whatsapp chat with no agent and still no response time. When I contacted them on their socials they responded until I gave the details of my order and havent heard back since. The automated chat on their site is not helpful at all. How can such a big company get customer service so so wrong. If I could give less than 1 star I would, simply due to the hundreds of pounds I have spent, yet I have no product, no idea of when I will receive the product and have had a terrible experience all round.
Bought a pair of headphones on 29th November as gift for Christmas. During checkout I was advised of a 1-2 week wait to receive my goods. That's fine I thought, plenty of time to receive before the big day.It's now December 18th and the item hasn't shipped, nor have I had any comms whatsoever from BOSE. I've had to communicate with them through chat function (where the level of communication and information provided is poor at best). 7 days ago I was told the item will be shipped within 3 days, today I was told the same. Go figure.TLDR; Great products, absolutely shocking customer service. If you really must have BOSE go and buy from a retailer. But to be honest at this point I wish I'd have bought from another brand.
