I’m not impressed with customer services. I’ve just joined the Bose family. I ordered the ultra soundbar and 500 bass module. which took a week to arrive, which was acceptable. I then ordered the satellite speakers to go with it. 10 days later and I’ve no idea what’s happening to the order.Web chat gets you no where as no one answers.WhatsApp chat just as bad. 27 hours and still no response.For a premium product, I expected better, I’ve spent over £1500 with Bose, the support is shocking.If anyone at Bose is reading this, you’ve until the 7th of January to supply the speakers, then I’m sending everything back.
Ordered a home speaker 500 from Bose on 1st December 2023. Nothing had arrived by 8th December, so phoned customer service who said it would be despatched within two days. Nothing had arrived by 15th December.....phoned customer service who now said it wouldn't be shipped until after Christmas. When I then asked to cancel the order, they said it would take up to 72 hours to cancel and they could not send confirmation of the cancellation request. Looking forward to taking this up with the various consumer watchdogs if they try to ship my cancelled speaker....Order directly from Bose at your peril!! Sacrifice the £10 Bose discount and use Amazon, they are much more reliable.Moral: don't buy Bose products.
Bose UK - awful company and terrible customer service! They do not care about their customers.Similar to others on here, ordered a soundbar direct from the company on 29/11 as a Christmas present. Been constantly contacting their customer services trying to get updates on delivery. Each time had to wait from 20 minutes to an hour to get a response. Been fobbed off every time saying it’s being processed and will be delivered in time for Christmas. Today have been told it will be at least another week! The same with others on here, when I’ve requested cancellation and a refund, been told it’s not possible and I will have to wait to receive the item and send it back and apply for a refund. With their appalling customer service I am not hopeful of this. Why can’t they uphold their contract with their direct customers and deliver when promised. I notice they are able to restock their stockists ok!EDIT - contacted my bank today to cancel the payment to Bose. Found out the original payment made on the 29/11 has been cancelled and Bose have reissued it for the 11/12 which means I have to wait another 15 days from this date to dispute the payment. Very underhanded!!
Terrible customer service. Ordered product on 1/12/23. After lots of chasing, told I wouldn’t get it before Christmas as they are … busy?! Imagine being a global retailer and being busy in December. Shocking. Do not buy from Bose.Edit: parcel was held in Brussels for a week, then sent back to Bose. Six weeks after ordering, I’ve been told I will now get a refund which will take up to 25 days. Never ever dealt with a company this poor before.
Appalling service - they claimed a returned empty box and refuse to accept any responsility for paying a refund. Appalling business - avoid at all costs unless you want to be told you're effectively a thief and lying.Why would anyone want to keep their appalling products anyway.
DO NOT ORDER DIRECTLY FROM BOSE. You have been warned. Heed many of the messages below. I ordered on 29/11 to get headphones for Christmas, then told over the phone I'd have them by the end of the week. 2 weeks later, despite them having my money, and order status saying completed, said they were out of stock and dont know when they would be delivered. I asked for a refund, they said they couldn't, as the order was completed (despite them being out of stock), and I could refuse delivery, assuming they ever get sent... see you in court
I ordered some earbuds 2 on the 07/12 website and it took until the 18/12 to be despatched. I had contacted customer services via whatsapp during this time and the only response was after 2-3 days asking if I still needed assistance, when I reply yes, after another 2-3 days, they asked again if I still required assistance. I never received a proper response from them but my item was despatched, so I didn't need to continue chasing them up. The item was then delivered on 21/12 and this is what I mean when I say I was lucky to have received it. UPS delivered it but left it in my recycling bin on a bin day. Thankfully they had already come to collect the rubbish otherwise they would have been collected with my recycling. The box was soaking with dirty water but thankfully it didn't make it through to the headphones box. This isn't a good enough service from Bose. I have been a long-time customer and love their products. I had a previous warranty issue which they resolved very quickly but with the way the service has been on this occasion. I'm not so confident that if I experience any warranty issues in the future they will handle it as well as they did previously given this recent experience with their customer services.
Like other reviews here, can confirm that ordering directly from Bose is a really bad idea. Massive and inexplicable delivery lead times, radio silence over orders, ignore messages and terrible scripted call centre. Asked to cancel order and even now I'm not sure that's been done.Never ordering from Bose again.
