AVOID this House of Cards. What a circus! Once they have your deposit that’s where the customer service ends. My partner agreed to purchase a Range Rover and was promised the vehicle would be gleaming and MOT’d ready to collect the following weekend. A WhatsApp number was provided to receive updates on progress etc during the week but nothing materialised. We ended up calling for an update the day before collection and every call after that has been lies and a complete runaround. We understand that delays can happen, things can change but don’t lie and treat customers like they are stupid!I would be very very wary of purchasing from this company, if the culture of lying is there before purchase, I dread to think of the service if there was an issue afterwards.Needless to say we are still waiting for a returned promised refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Never ever buy a car from this company bought a Landrover discovery too many problems to list they said it was recently serviced had one done when Tyler delivered it the day after oil filters never touched problems with the engine be warned stay clear
My friend bought a car from this dealership and it turned out to have multiple serious issues. He returned the car for repairs, but after a month nothing had been fixed. He then took it to an independent garage, which confirmed it would cost around £5,000 to put right. He ended up returning the car for them to re-list for sale.I left a review about the experience, as I was with him when he bought the car. The owner clearly didn’t like this — he tracked down my home address, pushed a letter through my door threatening me with court, and when I called to discuss it, he threatened me over the phone, even saying he’d come to my house and threatening my dad as well.
My experience with Browns Car Company ⚠️I purchased an Audi S3 from Browns Car Company. Within two days I returned it due to faults.An independent inspection by Minitech Ltd on 19 July 2025 found multiple issues, including: • Airbag control unit faults and airbag warning light on • Pedestrian crash sensor errors • Suspension and shock absorber faults • Coolant leak • Wiring damage to brake pad warning system • Missing underbody components and damaged wheel backing plateThe inspection listed over £5,000 worth of repairs needed to address these safety and mechanical issues.Browns Car Company agreed to refund me and took the car back, but payment was delayed for around a month until I said I would take legal action.On the same day I returned the vehicle, I saw it listed for sale again.Based on my experience, I recommend that anyone buying from any dealer gets an independent pre-purchase inspection.
After purchasing a car at the end of July 25, being told it would be serviced before collection, it wasn't car had little to no oil in the engine which is dangerous to say the least. Told at the time the V5 ownership log would take 6 weeks to arrive. After 8 weeks we contacted the garage to be told" oh I can sort this for you", indicating it had not even been processed yet. More time waiting then I called again, oh yes I will get this sorted, send me the V5 pictures of what we gave you. So I did, no one even had the courtesy to reply to my message. So I called DVLA who confirmed Browns had NOT processed a change of ownership for the car, so we now have to pay to get the V5 which should have been free. It was also advised the V5 slip we sent to them was not the current one for the car. Absolutely ridiculous! My google review was responded to, again they didn't even read that properly as replied they had processed the tax form at their expense, not what we were needing. Car was taxed and insured before driving it away obviously. Avoid this company at all costs!
Browns cars looked after me from start to finish.I had exceptional service from Ed who guided me in the right direction to suit my needs and budget.My car was delivered by Neil,what a nice guy he even helped me whith a query had.I would highly recommend Browns.
