I would give NO star if I can

I would give NO star if I can. The company and their engineers tried using bully boy tactics to cover up their mistakes.Dear Social Media Team at Cadent, Please don't ask me to contact your customer service (wecare@...). I already contacted them in October 2020 and no further reply from them. Also, I filled in the online business claim form for claiming my loss. If you are going to give me any reply or suggestion. You'd better to provide a contact number to speed up my claim form.

Job number 3004201821. When our gas engineer fitted our new boiler he called cadent as our mains pressure was too low. A team was soon out and dug the pavement up at the end of our drive to fit a new pipe. However they put all the soil and bricks onto our block paving causing staining. Adrian in customer services arranged for the drive to be pressure washed and after someone called to check and take photos the cleaning was done a couple of days later. Many thanks.

The Cadent Cowboys

I was next in line for the lucky job of having my gas pipe replaced (along with the rest of the road)I was told that they would try to put the new pipe inside the old one If that did not work (which it did not) then they would put a short length of white pipe on the front of the house then take the pipe through the wallI ended up with a 6 foot tall pipe on the front of the houseIt looks awful. It has a grey top and a black bottom. This would not be a problem if it was a short pipe - but the grey top is at head heightThe pipe is not vertical and looks like a cowboy builder installed itThe workmen made no attempt to fill the large hole in the wall around the pipe - they just left itThey also broke one of the screw cap covers on the house number signIn addition, the workmen needed to open my downstairs window. There is a net curtain on the window. Instead of asking me to do it - when I was right there in the next room - they did it themselves and left a big dirty handprint on the net curtain - then denied they had done itNeedless to say I am really annoyed about this whole thing I have had to spend time and money to fill the hole in my wall - and it still looks awfulThe Cadent workmen seem to know what they are doing when laying new pipes in the road - but they obviously do not have the skills for working inside houses

Well where do I start I had a gas leak…

Well where do I start I had a gas leak and had my gas turned off for 24 hours next day lovely team turn up to fix my gas supply lovely lad knocked on my house the same night.... just to check everything working correctly how nice is that...he backfilled my garden in his own time as I have young children what a lovely gentleman. I also got credit from my energy company but cadent were extremely professional and I could not fault them.

Cadent promise you a roses garden but…

Cadent promise you a roses garden but at the end you will get a rotten tomatoes. I have been enquiry new connection. Since september i have excuses and promises. I end up now in middle of nowhere with family moving to new house with no gas. No standard team supposed to call me around 50 times, never received a single call from them, as they working from home and have no access to phone ( don't think so ) at least they claiming so.I make a one call to Cadent a day and hear nothing but assurance I will get a call from non standard team, or from gas designing team. Guess what, never got a single call.I have minor child, how the hell should i live in the house with no gas. Absolute joke.Hope all Cadent people will end up with no gas in their houses for a year.

BEWARE IF CADENT ARE IN YOUR STREET NEXT

Have you noticed the reply bad reviews get from Cadent asking you to email them your dissatisfaction in order that they can look into your complaint. Well I did just that, spending/wasting yet more time writing messages and speaking to incompetent staff about negligence and rude contractors working on the part of the Cadent Gas. Quite frankly nobody at Cadent cares less about the negligence they dish out to unassuming members of the public. The so called managers are no better than the ignorant workforce who lie and scapegoat others as the problem for their shoddy and disrespectful workmanship. If you are notified by Cadent that your next in line for gas repairs then beware you need to protect your property from these cowboys as they think nothing of damaging your walls/ fences or driveways and will use your property to disrespectfully leave their machinery and pipework etc leant up against your home without consideration for anything you might own. In fact the more you complain the worse the situation will become for you as they act like children trying to get revenge fir any justified complaint you may have.Ignore any literature they deliver stating they will carry out safety checks and have men working late to ensure your gas supply is re connected. They did neither to my property and their negligence meant I had no gas supply for over 24 hours. No amount of phone calls made any difference, nobody called to re connect me until next day.

RUDE & IGNORANT WORKERS

I would give them NO STARS at all. They are RUDE. They have BLOCKED OFF MY ONLY ACCESS GATE as I have a one and half meter high external perimeter fence, that is AFTER I told them to TAKE THE BARRIERS AWAY BEFORE THEY DUG THE HOLE IN FRONT OF MY GATE. They are NOT welcome on my property. When I challenged them about that hole they dug, they stood around like SCHOOL CHILDREN, LAUGHING, MOCKING ME and HAVING A BALL. When I looked out again, they had HUNG ALL OF THEIR PERSONAL EQUIPMENT and MORE BARRIERS on my EXTERNAL PRIVATE FENCE. I told them to REMOVE the offending items and reminded them that they had hung their stuff on my private fence and that it was NOT council property. I have DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE of this and also the BAD behaviour, because I went out to them and CHALLENGED them on video.
